@Leandro Aude I am not going to tell you what to like and what not to like. If you have seen the other Terminator movies, particularly the first two, this movie absolutely pales by comparison. It barely deserves to be called a Terminator movie. It's just a cash grab. They crap all over the plot line by making John Connor the villain (makes no sense whatsoever), the acting and screenwriting are mediocre (downright stupid at times) Arnold is basically too old for the role, I could go on, but just watch some KZbin reviews on this film. @Nero X Unfortunately, there’s some huge flaws with this comment that prevent this scene from any defending: 1) The dead Terminator is shadowed, the lighting is very dim. Kyle would be hardly able to make out what it looks like at all. Look at the dead Terminator, any facial features are completely unable to be made out, the only thing that is noticeable is the exposed metal part, meaning Kyle’s only identification that this is a Terminator is Sarah’s word and that metal part. Otherwise, unless he has night vision goggles in disguise, he would not be able to tell what that Terminator looks like. 2) When we the audience see the Terminator and then it pans up to Pops, we are actually seeing through Kyle’s perspective, and from that POV, we see that the wounds on Pops’ face are unnoticeable, he is standing to a point where we are unable to see them, thus Kyle wouldn’t be able to use them to identify a Terminator. Even if Pops was standing so we could see them, the lighting would again render them much harder to see. Thus making such features redundant. The emphasis on the scene is clearly that Pops’ introduction answers Kyle’s question of *”We?”* when he inquiries into Sarah saying that *”we took care of him.”* - not necessarily that Kyle sees a dead terminator and then sees one of them same, because as stated, he can’t see it. He can barely see the dead terminator at all, and it’s head is facing down. If Kyle’s intention was to see the dead terminator and then see the same one standing up, then this was very badly done. Ultimately, the only thing that could suggest this is a Terminator to Kyle is the way Pops’ stands up with his blank expression. Otherwise, this is yet another badly written scene in a badly written film.

Most likely because he saw the dead T800 in front of him then someone who looks just like him stand up next to him. lol
@Jeremiahservant2 жыл бұрын
Probably because he noticed that the Terminator in front of him was missing a huge piece of skin and had a skull made of metal. That's actually pretty obvious. Arnold with showing metal all over the place on his face. That's pretty clear and obvious that he's a Terminator so it's not really a problem. It just means that Reese was a good soldier to spot that and to identify him along with the other Terminator that was dead and showing metal all over the place right in front of him which he saw first. Makes sense if he's intelligent.

Maybe you didnt watch T2. The learning computer allows for it to blend in. In T2, JC shows the terminator how to say hasta la vista baby and other corny 90s catchphrases. @Leandro Aude That is a small part of his body. IIRC, during the conversation it was young John Connor asking why T-1000 not transform into a giant bomb and kill him. T-800 replied that T-1000 cannot form into complex machine, but can form simple weapons such as stabbing weapons and transform into something else of same volume. But T2 did not explicitly state T-1000 cannot actively separate part of itself for other purposes. In fact, T2 shown a portion of his Liquid Metal formed claw is stuck on cars when John, Sarah and T-800 are escaping from mental hospital. After T-1000 was knocked off, John Connor removed that piece from the car, and we see T-1000 appeared later to retrieve that piece. So it is logical to deduce that T-1000 can separate piece of itself for tracking purpose.

But really, old Schwarzenegger made me realize that machines do get old, you don't keep the same car and computer forever, all machines get old and stop working or not work as well as they get older. Nothing lasts forever. So they applied that to the Terminator and it made sense to me, and with the skin aging, that worked too since it's real human flesh, I theorized that before Genisys came out.
