for anyone curious, the last level is impossible. once u pass the monty swarm, there is nothing to do but hit three invisible blocks. beyond the blocks is a giant void of nothing. the bullet bills don't ever spawn either. I just uploaded a vid of my playthrough, might even start speedrunning it, it's that fun.

I was genuinely shocked when I heard the Pokemon X and Y boutique theme playing. That theme is so incredibly overlooked and underrated even though it plays in a location most players will visit. Also, Pokemon X was a cornerstone of my middle school years. I made so many friends because of it.

Not surprised there's a MaGMML (Make a Good Mega Man Level) type thing for Mario. However, I wasn't expecting to see an innovation to side-scrollers here. It's a game that swaps on the fly between top-down and side-scroller, holy crap! That's COOL!
