The craft and details for your track: About 60% of my production time goes into these 4 steps: Removing sounds, adding sounds, Stacking/Layering and Details/EarCandy/Transitions/Swells. This is where I make the track work for my taste and make sure it flows, sounds clean and storytelling is on point.

Pleased you have shown producers the use of using Utility for volume control. It can also be handy in helping to reduce sound correlation issues in the mid / side settings.

When I was in art school, I loved going to museums and galleries of artist preparatory drawings. Sometimes you see bad drawings by the greatest of artists and it's a great help. Even the greatest artists make bad work sometimes. When we have great admiration for an artist, as you say, we only see / hear finished work, it's easy to believe they never do a duff take. Nobody is 100% all the time. BTW I loved your automation of resonator on the vocal.
