Karmakrew servers are some of the best, but the one thing that prevents me from playing on the Chernarus server is the character's stamina. I don't really mind it on Esseker or Livonia, but I think Chernarus is way too large and there are not enough cars to be found to justify such a low stamina.

It's true, this game is brutal, I can very well understand people for having gear fear. Although gear fear is your worst ennemy. Honestly I played a shitload of dayz but i cannot see myself recommending this game to people. It's way too brutal, nobody I know would be able to stand running for 2 hours gearing up just to lose everything to a faraway sniper just because you stopped to grab a can of beans on top of a car. (it happened to me multiple times lmao) Also sweet I was on the live stream when these event unfolded! That was super exciting! GG

That fight in Newaff at the tents, would never happen on console, with the 1.13 update the zombie count is enormous. A dozen around it without even entering and firing a single shot would bring 18 to 28 based on how many people are near. Its insane playing now.

I feel like Dayz has evolved past being a zombie game. In fact the zombies ruin the game for me. They’re just an unnecessary nuisance. You can’t even pvp on console without 20 zombies coming after you fire one shot.

This is why I don't play the no stam, heavy modded servers most of the time. It's not a survival game anymore if food and water are easy to come by and there is no zombie threat.

I love the open world , the maps , the zombies, the shooting style the 3rd person 1st person options. Having to find and load everything individually is amazing. My only critique about this game is the food aspect and the cold aspect and the drinking and the getting sick. It's so frustrating when you spend 4 hours surviving just to die by being Wet/cold or not being able to find food or water. If they took that part out or made it way less important I would be obsessed with this game

Yes VERY cruel. I was betrayed by a group of fellas that I trusted in the game. They lead me to their base far away from my own. I made sure to memorize the trail, "that was my instincts telling me not to trust them" I should've listened. We get to the base and they showed me everything they had. It was huge. Car tents, tents for storage, you name it. It was dark when it happened. One of them indirectly told me to look over the horizon. I thought it was strange then I turned around and noticed that he was holding a silenced pistol. There's was no zombies on the server so there was no need to have his pistol out...WHY didn't I blow him away right then and there is beyond me 🤦🏾‍♂️. He leads me on some trail and right when I knew what was happening about to blow him away his buddy snipe's me. I was so pissed and traumatized...that I changed my name to what you see here ..and went on a rampage. I'll never play this game again. It almost made me hate all Britain's... because that's what they were.

You got greedy. I'd have immediately booked it back to base and stowed the rifle, THEN go looking for a mag. Then again, I win fights by staying out of them. I'm more into the travel fast and light, survive off the land kind of player. Never really did care for PvP in DayZ, though my friends seem to think I'm a force to be reckoned with, because I usually lay waste to those who do attack me. I think they're exaggerating; I'm mediocre in a gunfight. I make up for it with evasion tactics, then decide if a counter attack is worth the risk. If not, I just look elsewhere for what I need. I never press a fight unless there's no other option. It's not like my method is better or anything, just different. For example, I only carry about 2 spare mags for my main rifle, and one extra mag for my pistol. I figure I'll never live long enough to use all my mags anyway, so might as well travel light to make more room for loot, and have more stamina to use for bookin' it outta town, which is also a huge advantage since the toxic zones update. I like to run a smersh vest and bag, and a hunter bag. The hunter bag carries my NBC gear, gas stove and cooking pot, hatchet, and rope. Smersh bag holds my med kit, weapon cleaning kit, lighter/matches, sewing kit, and a spare 9v battery. Smersh vest holds my spare mags, at least one loose ammo stack for each weapon, tool kit (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, lockpick, epoxy putty, whetstone, and duct tape). Boonie hat holds fishing bait, belt holds hunting knife (used only to process animals to get best cuts), pistol, canteen, and my assault boots holds my combat knife (my general purpose fighting/utility knife). I like to keep a spare battery in my pistol light. NVGs+NVG headstrap take the glasses slot. Shirt/jacket and pants remain free for loot I'm willing to ditch in the event of a gas attack. The whole kit is amazing for being fast, light, and gas-ready. It sucks for a firefight, though, due to lacking armor. The beauty of the kit is I can very quickly get into NBC gear, and can quickly pack my normal clothing into the backpack once protected. Also always keep a IV bag of clean blood in your kit, as it acts just like the POX injector if you do get exposed to gas. Anyway, very impressive video. I'd have died so quickly in those situations. Like I said, I'm not particularly good at gunfights in DayZ. I'm more the type to initiate fair trade, or even just go around helping new players. Far better to peacefully barter, get some of what you need while giving up some of what you don't need, than risking a gunfight where you could easily loose it all. If you think gunfights are tense, try initiating a trade agreement with another player. Definitely helps to have a buddy backing you up.

I love this game. Got tired of getting to buildings after everyone else had looted it so I rented a private server. Much more fun. Gave a few friends the password. It was originally a building server but we got bored of that so switched to Livonia and went casual pvp. Zombie count increase is mental..shoot one..get swarmed by 20. It’s a great fun game though.

Yes Tope, you did hit him and it didnt kill him. I already told this M1ndr but he didnt believe me. So in Mass's mod the .408 programmed in a weird way, when you fire the .408 the damage drop off starts as soon as the bullet leaves the barell, and not after 100 or 200 meters so it wont always one shot.

Dayz is prob one game i really wish i never bought. I have many games i never played i even played dayz long ago but i remember thinking why did i give 20 e for this garbage. If you think about it , game is not finished yet after all those years , all people do in there is spawn and search for weapons then shoot for brief period of time and then do all over again. Most of the time is just running around ! It's just stupid f ing game. And what this guy didn;t show you is 3 h of looting switching servers and what not to get gear to be able to make this video. Game is really really dumb when you think about it. I wish steam had option to sell games we do not want anymore so i could get my money back. And no one even does crafting and base building i'm telling you they switch servers to gear up then die. Its dumb game.
