Ventricular fibrillation, or VFib is a life-threatening arrhythmia where the heart’s ventricles contract rapidly. This causes the heart to not pump blood to the rest of the body and can ultimately lead to sudden cardiac arrest.
It is important to get your patient out of this rhythm ASAP and to restore blood circulation 🫀🩸
