It can but most of the nerve damage is do to lack of vitamin D3 an tapeworms;. An the chemicals they put in our food. The biggest question I have is if ALS is so rare an it first got labeled when Lou Gehrig was diagnosed with it.. Why is it that I know a bunch of people who have ALS? My observation has shown me that people that have tapeworms that doctors fail to acknowledge an treat. End up with nerve damage.

I was told I have ALS but refused the painful testing they wanted me to do. Started the carnivore diet December 2022 and have seen healing results, that I've been plagued with for decades. Apparently this diet keeps getting better so I'm staying the course, just have to quit coffee, with a teaspoon of sugar twice a day.

@@peachbottomblues9944 Good questions. A doctor in the stroke clinic told me I have ALS. I won't do any tests involving machines, even tho they are not painful. The carnivore diet has not healed my condition. Although it is helping a lot of other things so far. I'm almost 4 months in and have a lot of healing to do yet. Being in my 60's I have decades of diets that have done nothing but worsen my condition. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

@@peachbottomblues9944 He did a muscle test then checked my throat since I was starting to loose my voice. He watched my throat for a whole minute. I received the bad news after that. I refused the test after reading that it was painful and inconclusive, also that there are no drugs for this disease. Why take a test when it's proven by others to be 50/50 correct? I abstain from drugs since they only comfort and do not heal. I have a strong will to try and heal it through diet so am giving that a go.

@@peachbottomblues9944 The doctor checked my reflexes, resistance against his pressure by pushing against his arm, and no swallow test or EMG. They have given me access to all benefits now. If it truly is ALS, then there's nothing I can do but try to delay it with diet, since I won't take drugs. I do have muscle twitching and walking was becoming awkward unfortunately, so it must be ALS. The carnivore diet is helping as I feel. The last few weeks walking is not as awkward and right arm that is cold and twitching is not as bad. Thank you for your replies, you are very kind.

Items such as mint leaves , berries , ginger etc. can be washed / cleaned prior to consumption. Restrict consumption of ready-made flours of wheat, rice , millets , as they contain pesticides which you cannot get rid of . The human body has a fabulous capacity for regeneration, if you give it what it wants. All the best. Basil.

20 years ago aspartame was linked to pulmonary fibrosis as well. I had warned my mother several months before this occurred, that drinking diet coke was dangerous when she was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis the very first question asked of her was whether or not she drank Diet Coke. And that was further supported by Duke University, where she was sent for a research study. She did not live more than about 18 months after that occurrence. And she died in September of 2003.

@@bleuskye8124 EAT your fruit. Juicing tends to have you drinking too much at a time. Plus the fiber that would slow down the sugar rushing , is discarded with other nutrients that make up the whole. You wouldn't eat 5 apples so why would you drink five apples in a few minutes? Even if you did eat 5 apples, , you could eat them fast enough to get the straight sugar you would drinking it. And you won't then be hungry as a bear a half hour later.. CHEWING is the start of digestion , mixing with saliva, helps keep you from being glucose intolerant. Which comes from ingesting too much sugars too fast. One last thing. Remember restaurants used to have tiny glasses for juices.. that's because if it was juiced, that's all you're get out of an apple or two .

Thank you very much for this information. I probably have one can of zero calorie flavored water (ex. LaCroix) maybe twice a month or less. I will never drink another can of it. I thought it was OK. So thank you for that information. Sadly, I do drink coffee every day. For a while I did only drink organic from our local health food store, but it is so much easier to get Starbucks, etc. from the supermkt that I just switched. Now I have to think twice about that. Hi Doc, I'm really lucky to find myself here, I woke up in the hospital on January 2019,i was on comma for 3 months no food ad water so lost body fitness and can name it, with multiple function failures and wrose of all foot drop that was later peripheral neuropathy and since then still now thank God 🙏 🛐 and God food with endless personal exercise I'm much better but still my ankle and teos, still lack proper balance, can play football any more, don't have much control over my toes and enkle and I'm not feeling that big head toes nerves been active only the 4 reminding toe's please I need your guidance been 5 years now still struggling in pains and forcing fack smile while walking around 😢. I pray you get through this message and your reply will go a long way. God bless your work Doc.
