Auri, this flat was a drug den, used for cooking drugs.❗️❗️❗️ The stove is showing signs of cooking crack, bathroom is black with soot after their stuff caught on fire, and toilet is cracked because they tried to dispose of the boiling burning liquids into it!!! If it was meth, or even worse fentanyl, it should be done only by fully trained personel, fully hazmat-ed, with special chemicals to neutralise the leftover drugs!!! It is highly, highly dangerous!!! Please, please, please, get someone to screen your houses for drugs, before cleaning. All those people were junkies, and you were in serious danger there. Omg, I am so glad nothing happened this time. Please, I cannot implore enough, do not go to these locations alone before they are checked by someone... 🙏😥 i know your intentions are good, but this should have been a phonecall to the local police, the moment you set foot into the place. Your cleaning has removed evidence the police could have used in investigation...

Auri please take care, that situation sounds so sketchy. You were lucky that nothing happened. It's freaking crazy that they ask you to clean up that hole for free and didn't even make the proper arrangements for you to do so safely and comfortably, much less tell the guy LIVING THERE that you will come. I think we all agree that you should rather pass up a situation like this (even though you love the mess so much lol), it's not worth your safety. There are a lot of people that need your help and will treat you better.

Dear Auri, I picked up someone else's trash accidentally at a gs station a week ago, and it had opiates in it. I ended up affected by it, in the ER, not sure if I could keep breastfeeding my baby. Police and other well meaning people have died from just 3 grains of sand's worth of fentanyl or carfentanyl. Thankfully I'm OK! On the other hand, when my husband's cousin died of overdose, we went to his other cousin's homeless dwelling to try to help her get off heroin. IT WORKED and she's been living her new clean life now for about 6 years. I don't know if your cleaning will help anyone get off drugs, but please be careful, I don't want you to get poisoned like I did! *hugs*

Wondering if there’s an organization she can partner with in the states where social workers can recommend people to her , when the social worker has been working with the family and have a sense of whether the environment is safe for Auri to be in and whether the recipient is doing what they should be. The fact that this was a trap house and sweet Auri felt obligated to come inside and clean around people using substances. I know she’s cleaned houses with loose uncapped sharps before but she was aware to look out for them and had special gloves (although I think her moms sharp proof gloves didn’t hold up and she had gotten poked 😬) This is not okay , I’m gonna keep my ear out for what national programs she may be able to partner with in the states.

And when she told the social worker, they still tried to pressure her to clean it and Auri had to be very firm. So maybe not the best solution , unless there is an overseer organization with a chain of command or something. It just makes me nervous , first the trap house now this man harassing her and the social worker still pressuring her??!

Hi Auri! I work in housing specialising with substance misuse, mental health and homelessness. The black gunk on all the surfaces is most likely a mixture of ash from smoking cigarettes and other substances, and general residue from things being spilt etc. A lot of substance misusers are massively misunderstood and only a select few are actually dangerous. You definitely should have been better protected due to risk of Hepatitis C from a needle stick injury (sharps gloves are a great purchase for future cleaning), but well done and thank you so much for doing this job. I’ve had to clean a resident’s flat with minimal protection before and it was completely full of rubbish up to our shins with a path to the sofa, rotten food all over the floor, spilt drinks, bottles of urine and A LOT of ash residue from him using the flat as an ashtray. So I know how good it feels to get this done for someone who is living in squalor due to poor mental health. Thank you for being the cleaning angel Auri!

that black grime, could be from a fire, but seeing as it was everywhere and not just where the fire supposedly happened, it's likely residue from substances smoked in that house. highly toxic, highly dangerous. i'm glad you wore double gloves and all, but i'd feel better if you and your mom wore respirators too, or better yet, not clean while there are people actively consuming in the house. crack smoke is bad enough, but if they were using fentanyl, you and your mom were at deadly serious risk there. please, don't clean drug dens anymore. the people may be harmless, but the substances they consume are not.

1. If you are going to clean any homes that were suspected drug abuse, you need PPE. Depending on the drug it can enter your body through breathing. It will cause a lot of health issues. 2. If you are in one of those homes and the police show up, everyone gets arrested. They don't care that you are there to clean. You will be told tell it to the judge. Who knows what will happen to you. Please with cleaning in the US you need to probe deeper. If they are being vague and withholding necessary information avoid them at all costs. @@christinegill3425 Probably because what the sister wanted was not to help the brother but a clean house. In other videos, where family members seek help, they make sure their loved ones go to therapy, rehab, etc. Here there was none of that. It was more convenient to let the cleaning youtuber do the good deed of the day. The sister wanted the house clean, for free, without making any effort or taking any risks, and then get everyone out because selling the house would be easy that way. It is very disrespectful that she did not report the details. The sister first made sure Auri traveled and then told her there was no water. Also, you can't send someone to a house you don't live in without arranging it with the person(s) who actually live there first and leaving a phone number. For Houston and Austin you need a local contact who can screen these cleanings on your behalf to prevent a situation like this again. As a Miamian, my concern would not have been the people. The substances they were using requires hazmat-level protection to clean safely, and the sister knew and didn't want to pay for that. The people can be dangerous, but the substances they were using and the residue it leaves behind is deathly dangerous, and because you don't have experience with it. these circumstances leave you extremely vulnerable. It also leaves a grey area where those residing in the property could report to the police that you committed theft within the property... Please be careful - I appreciate hindsight can be perfect vision, but situations like this have an extremely high risk of harm to you (through exposure to substances or individuals) and could lead to incorrect claims against you. That soot she was scrubbing off the wall is literally toxic and she could have gotten an accidental needle stick. That microwave 100% was NOT caked on food, something else was cooked in there. At least if she could have known that drugs were being done in the house she could have had more PPE before going in instead of her normal cute tank top and dust mask. Auri, Please wear more PPE (personal protective equipment) to places like this! I'm an ER Nurse and you have to do more to protect yourself from pathogens because you never know what you might come into contact with- like drugs, chemicals, antibiotic-resistant bacteria, bed bugs, scabies, lice, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, etc. You should be wearing sturdy, closed toe shoes, hair cover, eye protection, a respirator mask, & a protective jumpsuit in addition to your gloves. Because once you come into contact with a harmful substance, it's too late. It's like if a plane were crashing & you have to put your own oxygen mask on before you can help anyone else. Same with PPE.

Oh Auri! If you ever see a situation like that again, please leave immediately. The drugs (and the needles, fumes, etc) are dangerous, the people could be dangerous (some drugs can cause violent outbursts and some drug-addicted people could also have unmedicated mental health issues), and the people that sell the drugs are dangerous. Please don't risk your health or your life! Only people with appropriate hazardous waste protective equipment should be cleaning a places like that. Even if the people aren't a threat to you at the time, you could come in contact with deadly fentanyl, dirty needles, dangerous diseases, and deadly fumes (what if they are smoking/making meth there??). You are a gentle, kind, cheerful soul; please please please take care of yourself!!
@Widdekuu91

Fentanyl is not deadly, that rumor was spread by the police (and fearmongering media) to avoid people wanting to help people that overdose. Fentanyl is only deadly if you overdose, not if you touch it. You'd have to sniff the dust off the nightstand in order to get some in your nose.

THAT FURNITURE WAS EXPENSIVE WHEN PURCHASED I WAS WORRIED SICK ABOUT YOU AND YOUR MOTHER'S SAFETY THE WHOLE TIME YOU WERE THERE! I GUESS THE DRUG ADDICTS AND DRUG DEALERS ARE BEYOND HAPPY BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR MOTHER MADE THEIR PARTY DRUG DEN SO MUCH BETTER NOW THEY CAN LAY AROUND GETTING HIGH WATCH TV SLEEP ON CLEAN SURFACES AND ACTUALLY COOK IN THE KITCHEN! BUT THE PART THAT IRRITATED ME MOST WAS WHEN THE BROTHER OR WHO EVER WAS TELLING YOU THAT OUR COUNTRY IS RACIST THE COPS ARE BAD WHEN EVERYTHING THEY SAID IS MOSTLY LIES THERES GOOD AND BAD IN EVERY RACE! WHEN ARE BLACKS GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR LIVES AND HOW THEY HANDLE THINGS! FOR THE MOST PART OUR COUNTRY IS GREAT BECAUSE PEOPLE GET TO SAY AND DO ALOT OF THINGS THAT IF THEY DID IN ANOTHER COUNTRY IT WOULDN'T GO WELL! AURI AND HER MOTHER DO GREAT THINGS AND PEOPLE USE THEM AND I DONT LIKE THAT!

its an awesome cleaning job. but while reading the comments... i too was very very suspicious about the water situation and the 'fire damage'. I think im not the only one but i believe you should render your help to people who really really need them; like people who are unfit to clean their house or old-folks who lives alone and nobody to care for them... stuff like that. I think that would give a much better impact to viewers who would like a great ending knowing that your help is very much needed in those types of situations.

Oh Auri, I am so so sorry you were put in this situation. Drug users can get violent when in abstinence and drug providers are violent. I think many here were shocked and sad by the risk you took. The fire probably had connection with the drug cooking. As someone with severe addictions in my family, I am glad that you care for the people in the home and showed them kindness. However, you have to look after your and your mom's safety. My mom and I had to make a hard decision to not visit some family members in their homes because of the drug situation. If there was a drug raid, we would have been arrested with them even though we were only visiting. Also, you don't know how the people in the home are affected by drugs. One violent incident, and everything could have ended badly for you. Not to mention if you had come in contact with any of the drugs or paraphernalia. You should have never been put in this situation. The moment you feel something is off, you need to leave. Please stay caring and helpful; but also please, PLEASE stay safe. That being said, you did an amazing job!

Shame on the so-called sister! She sent you into a very dangerous situation. My cousin was k.illed by people that were on meth. It took a month to find him because they c u t his body up and left it in a forest. They were strangers to him and he was just giving his friend a ride to a "party". You don't knkw what someone will do under the influence. Don't feel bad for judging someone in a ski mask. Nobody in FL has a legitimate need for one, and i seriously doubt this guy is going on trips to Aspen. It's better to be rude and alive than polite and dead! Also, in the future ask people to spray foggers the day before to get rid of the pests. The next day, all you have to do is discard them. There are also non-toxic sprays for people and pets like Stem or Zevo that you can spray directly on roaches.

I appreciate how much empathy you show to people clearly struggling with addiction, and probably untreated mental illness. I'm very glad that they were nice! I think that, while drugs CAN make people unpredictable, we also really vilify addicts who need help that our society just can't give them. I'm glad that they also helped to clean a little bit, that's a great sign. I worry about your health and safety going into a situation like that, but I also don't believe anyone deserves to live in a house like that, and I'm happy you were able to help them. Even if it becomes a mess again, at least it's clear for a little while. Please be safe and make sure you're taking steps to protect yourself and your health!

100%. Auri takes way too many risks for me, I'm pretty close to unfollowing her because doing what she does in the way she does encourages other upcoming cleaners to follow her lead, which is incredibly unsafe most of the time. Between the lack of PPE, the biohazardous homes she's cleaning, and now obvious drug dens?? She seems to be taking more risks all the time just for the clout. She's super sweet, caring, a great cleaner, etc, but it's becoming hard to keep supporting her.

I am sorry Auri but I did not make it to even finish watching the video this time. I usually love the way you clean, it’s so satisfying to see the before/after pics and I love listening to you and the stories of the residents. But this time there was nothing satisfying about it, it was just scary, unsafe and uncomfortable to watch. I believe this is not what most of your followers want to see and hear. I know your intentions were the best, but please, don’t ever again put yourself in a position like this. Being a nurse I know well how even a small contaminated needle can ruin your life forever and it was crazy for you to put your hands in the trash after confirming that those people were doing d*r*ugs, even in the middle of the cleaning. You’ve listened to your followers in the past, I hope you’ll do the same now. ❤
