Yes absolutely!!! Auri flight the hole way from Finnland to the USA just to fix the mess their made. She is so kind, she often give them nice things for the bathroom-towels, bath mat, toiletbrush for free. And I see videos from Auri, when she ordered a roller bump and pay all by herself.

My career was in Social Services/mental health in the USA. I worked with individuals with disabilities who lived independently. We occasionally contacted people to help clean. NEVER, EVER, did we pressure someone to go to a home where it might be a safety issue!! I am glad she trusted her intuition.

"Tom" was definitely lying when he said his friends were sending those messages on his phone. Guys will use that excuse when they get confronted about it or when they don't get the response they want. It was definitely him who sent them and he knew it. The social worker should have stood up for you, especially being a woman. We all know how terrifying being harrassed is. Do not ever apologize for putting your own safety first and definitely don't feel bad for saying no. You're health, life, and safety are much more important than any job ❤

Exactly. She was asked to CLEAN the home. Not buy it replace any furniture, mattress etc. for this client. He was blessed by her buying that table and chairs let alone the comforter for the mattress. She didn’t even need to do that.

It is amazing to me that some people could watch your videos and see all you are doing FOR FREE and then still criticize you for not buying your client certain items. I wonder what those people do for others when they aren't hiding behind their computers. Grrr. But...what makes you magical is that your remain your positive, generous, kind and light-hearted self. A few positive comments: - Vim in Canada - baking trays is the right word - good that you refused to clean the house with Tom - I like that you don’t erase the full condition of the homes. That’s so important to show sanitary and clean is fantastic. - when you make a mistake like the water in the microwave, create a saying that is positive rather than say you are clumsy. I recommend this to anyone. It really stands out when you put yourself down. An “Auri” expression that fits your attitude. I’m so sorry that the social worker treated you that way. She minimized your discomfort and fear when she should have known better but it offers a learning experience. Never just give in to someone in a position of alleged authority if you sense something is wrong! Doctors, therapists, teachers, etc do NOT know everything and are human. They may have a bad day or simply not know and can misdirect….if it feels wrong, question it like you did, pause…only proceed when you feel 100% comfortable or walk away. Fortunately there is almost always someone else to ask. Do not let anyone minimize your fears! For those who have negative comments I don't understand why if you are cleaning free where did they get the idea that you are supposed to buy everything that a client needs to be replaced. I hate that the social worker pressured you to even go meet the guy, that was extremely dismissive of your safety for them to do so. Also, so bizarre that people get upset over you not doing more. You are doing a huge service already, it's not on you to fix everything. You do enough. It's not healthy for them to be taking their anger out on you or anyone else, even if you can 'handle it.' That just pushes them further into their problems and keeps them from addressing their real issues, too. They need to go to therapy, not attack you.
