I can't say, since I have no direct INSIDER INFO, but I suspect it could be from the infection. When a finger size wound appeared on your forehead, it is LIKELY internally, the infection could have impacted his immune a bit. That is especially true if you're also taking some medication --- approved by officials --- to stabilize that infection... Just wondering here. I think people confuse Colby's elite PURE WRESTLING skills for BJJ skills. And the word "grappling" is a good convoluted word they would use.... There is no doubt, if it's pure wrestling, not many people, including big guy Usman, would out technique, out cardio MAGA man; but since it is under MMA rules, not D1 rules, Colby doesn't always get to do all the pure D1 skills he could, in college. In other words, Colby's pure BJJ and Leon's pure BJJ are on the same level; but whereas Colby came from a D1 background, Leon came from a pure striking background. So while from the clinch on down to the mat, Colby would out maneuver Leon 6 out of 10 times, once they hit the mat, and it's mostly pure BJJ maneuvers, as everyone saw, Colby wasn't able to really out maneuver Leon. To be fair, that's partly due to Colby being the smaller guy who is not as physically strong as a solid 190lb 6'2" like Leon.
