You should probably put something outside the ship in a stormy environment to act as a lightning rod. The engine delirious dropped seemed to attract all of the lightning strikes and allowed squirrel to return safely. When squirrel brought the engine back the lightning started striking the ship.

@@chantegosha1635 Bobby has features Delirious read about and forgot. The point of a radar beacon is to distract hounds from the ship or guide players in the fog/darkness/Steam. You can ping it to have it generate noise and the light helps guide players.

Drop two objects outside with a few meters of space between them. The eyeless dogs like to investigate lightning strikes but the AI sometimes causes them to linger outside of lightning strike kill range of an object. Having a second object spaced appropriately will eventually draw the dog into the kill radius of one or the other.

just a heads up the bracken(the thing that grabs you and drags you away) will go away if you look at it then keep it in your periphreal instead of staring or turning your back if you stare then it becomes angry and charges you

I’m only halfway thru the video but that beacon “bobbie” is very useful u just need to know how to use it. You can play voice recordings and play it through the beacon to attract monsters and if everyone gathers around the beacon you can all teleport at the same time for the teleporter that teleports you back to the ship.

@@SolidAcidYTYes. It takes about three shovel hits. Easier when it’s stunned but there’s a window as it kills someone else you can whack it before it can kill again if you’re fast. Coil head, giant, jester, and goo are the only ones I haven’t seen some kill.

Just a tip: another function of bobby is making a sound that can attract monsters (like dogs) to bobby, you can do that from the terminal. So you can lure dogs away from the ship. :D

I never said that Flashlights weren't a priority. I just said that communication is a little more useful since the ship crew can direct people and plus if people radio in, it's a lot easier to know when's a good time to bail. E.g. "I think Delirious is dead, that either means it's time to bail or he died moronically"

It would be a cool easter egg if you press the inverse teleporter when on the company bulding and you get teleported in a dark room. It will be a low percentage chance to get teleported but still. You have to escape the tentacles chasing you. Also there is high value loot on the ground you decide if you want to get while escaping or not. Now that would be sick af. If you can't meet the quota it's like a all or nothing type thing.

Omg I just got a revelation on how you can properly use the radar booster: Place it inside at the entrance and if the team is lost and don't know where the exit is, the person on the monitors can just ping the radar booster to play sounds! It's genius! Oh and you can also use it outside the ship to distract dogs and use it for surveillance to check for monster on both outside and inside buildings

you can PING bobby for the whole team to highlight it and be able to see it. putting one outside the ship can help the whole team when returning to see the direction of the ship and inside the building exit to ping the team the direction of the exit.
