Ne dodaje se ulje u vodu u kojoj če se kuhati tjestenina jer tjestenina neče močiupiti taj lijepi sos ukusan. To sam kao savjet naučila o starijih bbaka i iskusnijih od mene. Isto tako grah se nikada ne soli dok se kuha jer če zatvoriti pore i voda neče moči uči u zrno i puno duže če se kuhati. Soli se pri kraju kuhanja.

Tavsiye olsun o babaanneye,hazırladığı sosa kaynattığınız makarna suyundan biraz koyun ve aradaki lezzet farkını görün.Kıyma varken pastırmaya gerek yoktu bence.Onun yerine daha hafif,lezzet arttıracak baharat koysan daha şahane olur.Örneğin fesleğen.
