Honestly this guy has it all figured out. Positive thinking makes a huge difference to your overall wellbeing and sometimes it can be hard, talking to yourself like this even as a joke can be the first step in getting yourself out of those negative thought patterns.

He’s figured out how to cope. Positive thinking is a result of a positive life and vice versa. Slaves in a plantation could act positive about their work and sing songs all they want but it would only be hiding their hopeless reality. And in the evolution of capitalism, which went from plantation slavery, to factory slavery, to corporate slavery, we still choose to cope instead of facing the beast.

"I'm not the fastest, I'm not the strongest, but I'm still going to give it everything I've got" is great for something like that. Actually i really appreciate people who genuinely try to be their best in their everyday life. I feel like it's actually a worthy goal for everyone. This guy seems like he actually is dedicated to his Excel sheets, unlike many a "grind influencer" whose job is selling the look of working while they're influencing. Even with the baffling "been up since 4.30 am" remark it almost seems like instead of it being a brag about an insane and unrealistic morning routine it's more of a "couldn't sleep half the night bit still had to work, but I'm staying optimistic and doing great, so you can too! 🤗" kinda thing. Idk. He's a positive sorta fella is the vibe I'm getting.
