Tom what a great entertaining take. Yet I’m intrigued to get a whiff. I’m taken aback you haven’t done secretions because I’ve worn that to work and albeit the first few hours someone did say whoah wtf but it settles to a non offensive seaside scent, honestly. I’d replace my bottle on the basis there’s nothing like it out there. So you’ve laid the gauntlet I’m off to bloom perfumery for a sample. Who I might add did me proud a few times and included some strangers samples over time and though they weren’t too strong but very nose burying. The glue one and the peat one and was there a whisky one? Btw today I’m wearing yatagan by Caron........so piney and earthy it fits the coming winter months. It’s better than etat libre traitre because it’s less oxo cubes. Good review thank you

That's the funny thing about perfumes/scents and their reactions to the wearer's skin chemistry. I've smelled some really wonderful things on others that smell absolutely rank on me. And the opposite is true. A friend of mine bought a bottle of Jicky EDP after smelling it on me and he rang me up to tell me I must have tricked him into buying a bottle of what he described as 'liquid cat box.' Secretions Magnifique - same thing. On a card or in the air I HATED it, but after drying for 15-20 minutes on my skin it was absolutely intoxicating. I would definitely give "Sombre" a go.

OK, so i bought a 'dare to wear' sampler pack and Sombre is in it. I had no idea about the reasoning behind its creation aaaaand I sprayed it directly onto my skin!! All the things you described, yup I said the same but after an hour its pleasant on the skin, so bizarre!!

Ok, for olfactory exploration, sure. Personal nose training perhaps. Extreme art, maybe. Perfume, no. Unless you fetishize human waste and vomit - but still that sounds more like eu de serial killer. Wether it was made to shock people or not I think who ever made it didn't really seriously think about what they were doing and the consequences of what they were doing and really didn't care about wether people were going to be negatively affected by this horrible concoction of putrid stuff that it contains unless theyve exscuse me for saying they made it for the fun of it and have a wierd sense of humour and i know no one in their right mind would want to be smelling like what this stuff contains put it bluntly I feel the people or person who made this perfume have crossed a boundary line in perfumery they should of never crossed I mean no serious perfumer around the globe who knows his or her stuff would ever make some thing so awful they would just know their not to do that it should of never bn made in the first place how it even got off the production line I just don't know if this comes with a warning I'd say it's not enough but seriously it should of bn given a government health warning to say it can really negatively affect yr health avoid at all costs now I love my perfumes and I can be on fragrantica to just be reading about new perfumes coming out or just reading what flowers are in them but there's just no way I'd buy this or even want to try this out it smells that bad from the reviews I've seen that's enough to warn me that I'm to completely keep as far away as possible away from this for the rest of my life put it bluntly
