Yeah, in Japan, a woman refusing gifts and not reciprocating feelings from a man courting her is really socially and culturally seen as unacceptable, so this gives way to toxic relationships and victimblaming when the woman tries to break it off. I vividly remember a similar case where a japanese woman was being harrassed by a stalker, she reported him to police only to be told that she should feel flatered and that she should try date the guy, only for her to end up dead, murdered by said stalker days later. And of course, everyone was quite to blame her for her own death.

Yup I watched a longer video on it and it included like 2 or 3 different times where she got involved with the police on camera. Each time she seemed to be under the influence, and she always mentioned things that hinted to being trafficked each different time with the police. Yet there’s been no actual investigation into it despite it being so obvious. The last time, she seemed to be at her job going to a location/apartment for prostitution, going by a different name (people guessed it was her name when doing the job), with a random guy who has a warrant helping her possibly do it.

With the cougar vid, 1) if he really 'knew what he was doing' he wouldn't have fucking FOLLOWED THE BABY COUGARS. That's as stupid as following a bear cub. You don't do that. 2) The cougar was doing warning jumps at him, basically just bluffing. If she really had wanted to hurt him, he'd be dead. She could easily outrun him and chase him down. She was just giving him a warning and basically driving him away from her cubs.

That's the thing with so many of these videos where a person is being stalked/followed by some large animal (cougar, moose, bear, whatever) that seems threatening is, if it wanted them dead they would be. Like, these animals could run you down in the blink of an eye and you would be fucked. What they're doing when they charge abruptly but stop is a bluff, a warning to make you leave. They aren't trying to kill you. Yet.

Sad thing is, that is true. I can't stand being touched. I already didn't like it as a child, and after going through some things I developed a fear for it called hephaphobia. When I would tell someone about it, they would imediatly start trying to poke me and tap me any way or time they could. I was called a sensitive and weak by my step dad for it several times as well. My partner doesn't fully understand it even after I tried to explain, but I am trying to get better with touch even though it still makes me extremly uncomfortable and it feels like ants are crawling on my skin where I've been touched (Edited due to spelling mistake)

Pig, I was diagnosed with ADD in the early 90's. ADHD is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain interrupting signals. For some people anti depressants can help due to serotonin and dopamine. Strattera works very well for me (aderral and ridaline make me agitated) because it is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It makes your brain essentially keep more of the chemicals it's already low on to help with the imbalance. It increases dopamine too.

Anime was definitely weird in the 90s, it's just the great classics everyone recommends are the least weird ones. Personally it doesn't bother me with all that stuff in anime. It's hard for my mind to relate them to real people, since they don't look or act like real people. Meanwhile porn sites have incest and teen barely legal categories which are always popular and have real people. Although when I see photorealistic art of young characters it's much more offputting since they're made to look real.

Mental illness from someone who suffers badly. This woman in my opinion is drunk and reliving her trauma. As a trauma survivor we tend to use alc to mask our own pain. But as soon as we r thrusted into a situation that is scary and we don’t understand and we r drunk we’ll something takes over. We shut down we stop making memories and we scream and say and do things we don’t even know we are doing and won’t remember. So I’m my opinion she’s shut down re living her trauma and trying to feel heard and say she needs help.

Sure there’s a lot of stuff about that in the anime world and it’s disgusting, but you have to realize that the age of consent in Japan is of 16 years old, which means a lot of stuff that seems weird to Americans about adults engaging in stuff with minors over the age of 16 is weird. And I get that, in my country, Italy, the age of consent is 14, but still I find it weird and I completely disagree with this law. But either way a lot of elements like that are in animes and it’s normal over there as it’s legal, but still it’s weird. Though I can’t deny that there are a lot of animes that actually show really bad stuff that goes against their law as well.

Essentially they cause a great deal of harm, but they haven't been found to bring about any more positive outcomes than you can get from just going outside and asking someone out, or if you wanna be some wild traditionalist, just have an arranged marriage to a family friend's kid of your age instead of your cousin. And no one has some immutable attraction to their sister
