Yes. Danielle's xenophobic attachment and attempts at manipulating Mohammed into being in a relationship with her using his immigration status against him and Mohammed's constant idiotic decision making is quite a lot to dip into (as well as how insanely lazy Danielle is on top of how poorly she cares for herself, yet thinks someone like Mohammed could even partially assimilate into that lifestyle...or lack of it), but I've been dying to see a deep dive into this particular relationship in 90 day.

I was raised by a single mother and I dont understand how a person would move a stranger into their home with 3 teenage girls. Doesn't sound very responsible. I mean seriously. You need a man so bad you would expose your kids to that kind of risk?
@Crackpot_Astronaut Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, it's more common than you'd think. And you're absolutely right that it's dangerous as hell. Not to sound too judgmental, but I think it really says something about a woman who does that. Especially the ones who do it over and over and over with different men.

I am a single mother and I won’t even invite a date over when my kids are home. I did once when they were dead asleep at 1 am but I have my own room with a door and they’ll sleep through a bomb going off and I felt so selfish having done that I’d never do it again. And that was someone I knew well who had met my kids before on a different day. It just confuses kids and it’s dangerous to boot! You don’t know this man/woman moving in! Many children in this country are parentified because their parents are immature, irresponsible, etc. When there's no adult in the house, the children take on that role. What stuck out about these two to me was at the Reunion when everyone ganged up on Mohammad for not wanting to sleep with Danielle because he thought she might have something/smelled so bad and wouldn't go to a doctor. Danielle admitted it smelled horrible. Admitted she begged him for sex. Admitted she cried to her KIDS about him not sleeping with her! And refused to go to a doctor! They acted like Mohammad OWED her sex and even when he had a valid health concern and laid out a way to fix the situation! Absolute insanity. Just imagine if those roles were reversed and he wanted to force her into sex when showing signs he might have a disease. 🤦

I think many of us don’t understand that we are only rich and powerful because the government has hoarded all the wealth and forced us into modern day slavery. Right! It is so disgusting to me how she treats her children like crutches, and puts all of her drama and toxicity and negative energy onto them Like that really effects a kid! I don’t even like to cry in front of my kids. If it’s something serious, they will see me cry, but then explain to them why I’m crying or why I am upset and that it’s OK to cry when you’re feeling upset it becomes kind of a teaching moment, but I’m not constantly weeping in front of them about a man especially I could give a dang about a man honestly lol I’m a single mom and I like things this way until I meet someone that matches my energy especially when it comes to my kids lol i’m dang sure not moving a stranger in I know this 😂

It’s actually really damaging for children to take care of their parents emotional well-being. They learn that they can’t be happy if the people around them aren’t happy, and as a result grow up to prioritize everyone but themselves. It’s called enmeshment, and it sucks. Also if she’s talking about her s*x life with her kids it’s a whole other type of issue. Hey Leo, I just wanted to explain that while communication is so, so important in a relationship, Mohammed is actually justified in leaving quietly in this context. Danielle's behaviour towards him at best constitutes a toxic dynamic and at worst and abusive one. There's a pretty good chance that if he did try to give her that closure, she'd attempt to manipulate him into staying with the exact same tactics we've seen her use already. If someone is in a problematic situation like this, please know that it is perfectly valid to protect one's self, people can often become stuck in toxic dynamic due to good hearts or doing 'the right thing'. You act like this woman is a calculated mastermind lol.. it’s a little ridiculous. Mohammed took total advantage of a clearly mentally unstable woman. Of course this would lead to a toxic dynamic! He had no interest in her but was happy to lead her on until it didn’t suit him any longer. & again, since Danielle has issues processing emotions & has a lower intellect, it easily causes things to get out of control. I do not feel bad at all for that man. I don’t feel bad for either quite frankly. Like attracts like.

The whole thing with Mohammad not wanting to expose Dani's feminine issues, but everyone PRESSURED HIM TO TALK ABOUT IT just to yell at him was the fucking craziiest thing. Dani was wildly abusive and gaslit him and he even said he felt obligated to stay with her bc of the show, all bc Dani needed money and he ended up looking like the bad guy. She tried to accuse him of abuse too when she hit him and stalked him. I feel so bad for him bc everyone on the show turned against him, meanwhile Ed acted like this and so many people stood behind Liz. Edit to add: I feel like Mohammad didn't communicate enough bc Dani was so emotionally unstable, I feel like he was afraid to express himself. I feel like hes perceived as cold because of this. I've been in a relationship for 8 years with a guy I started dating at 17. The best advice I can give anyone regarding relationships and how to maintain them is to keep your relationship off of social media. I'm not talking about keeping your relationship a secret. I post happy birthday and the occasional selfie with my boyfriend. What I mean is keep your drama and disagreements to yourself. Don't post your arguments and disagreements and don't look for second opinions on social media. If you need advice talk to a friend in real life or a therapist.

Fun video, but just wanna mention to everyone here, while herpes is sexually transmitted that's not always the case, there are two types one is oral/facial you can get it through kissing, or simply using a product after someone who has it, this is a very common infection, most of the population has it some wont ever show any symptoms, there's also genital herpes also transmitted through direct contact, both are entirely two different viruses.. if you have the infection you can't cure it, so once you carry the virus you will always have it, but there are ways to control it so you don't have outbreaks as often if it's too much, and again some people will carry it without ever showing symptoms (In fact most are asymptomatic). Also most of the time herpes is transmitted from a person who has an outbreak, the chances of transmission are a lot lower when its dormant.. just a bit of sex ed for yall 🤭 have a good day

It was awful when she went to see her friend and he called her out saying she should focus on her kids a bit more, and immediately went to "don't you call me a bad mom" and stormed out. He just wasn't taking her side, he was being a decent middleman, didn't even call her a bad mom and she took immense offense to that.

Rewatching this one I’m really noticing how much the parent-child dynamic is flipped with Danielle and her kids. They all do a lot of emotional heavy lifting for her. The daughters telling her to chill out and managing her emotions for her especially later on when things get dicey. The son talking to Muhammad about not hurting his mom and all that happens there. And don’t get me wrong there’s nothing bad about that like no one wants to see their mother hurt but it’s just…interesting how her son, the oldest, stepped into a role he shouldn’t really take on. I don’t wanna diagnose but there’s a little parentification happening there.

As an American I can say with full authority that Leo's impersonation of Midwesterners is perfect. No notes. Sticks the landing. Fabulous. EDIT: Anyone else finding Leo wanting a diamond engagement ring absolutely adorable? I hope you get that giant rock Leo! I hope you show that ice your lady got you to everyone with pride! The store will probably try to steer you to the "men's" rings, but if you don't want that just tell them. Find the ring you find the most appealing; gender doesn't need to be attached to it if you don't want it. I love this. I really do! 😊

When I married my husband I was a very flexible vegetarian no one really knew I did not eat meet because if a speck of gravy was chicken or the broth in soup was made with meat or fish i just kept my mouth shut and ate around the obvious . My husband used to slip the meat onto his plate it worked out well because he was a Midwest carnivore in flannel not cammo but similar. Anyway he did tell his step mother that I was vegetarian but to not worry about it and just cook normally “she will figure it out” …I went down to breakfast one day and my mother in law proudly announced “I knew you were a vegetarian so I bought you a ham it will be on the counter just help yourself” . Sincerely done with love. Rest her soul

My wife and I dated almost 2 years when I bought her an engagement ring that I planned to give her 4 months later. I am a contractor and didn't have insurance when I couldn't walk one day. It was my sciatic nerve, so I thought I had something inflamed. After a week of this we went to my doctor, got tests done and I had an 8" begnine tumor touching my sciatic nerve. After hearing the bill, I showed my wife the ring I bought her, so she called a Justice of the Peace and we got married at town hall, I got insurance, then we had a wedding a year and a half later. My best man told the crowd the story and the only people that knew were my wife, her sister, her mom, my mom and my dad. Everything worked out great.

I welcome any question about my country and culture even if it's not something mentioned in this post. Tunisian 30 yo guy here : Leaving Tunisia is is by far the biggest goal that youth have in my country. For guys here to leave the country, you either get a job, illegal ways and lastly marrying a woman from another country. My country is not that known culturally, so I will be dictating things here about it. I'm not saying mohamed is lying, or a bad person. I'm just pointing what most guys are like here and the culture here. But it is very possible that he is one of the exceptions. I consider myself to be the exception and I know a lot of people like that as well. anyway I will refer to Mohamed as Med : - sex before marriage : Islam says it's not okay. But 99.9% of guys here, ignore that. Some because they don't believe in islam and the others are muslim but chose to ignore it anyway. The reason they are not having sex is because they either can't get a girl, or the girl doesn't want to have sex before marriage. - the pool and meeting the son : playing pool is something that most guys have done since the age of 8-9 and play it for money as well. It was laughable how the son talked to Med. 99% of guys in my country would not have felt any threat from that talk. It would have actually given them more confidence and control over him. - The bacon thing : I'm always baffled by it, it's practically the most followed rule of islam in my country : no pork meat. Most guys here don't care about halal except for pork. Even though this is one of the least important rules in islam. - meat and halal : we use the term meat in general to refer to red meat. Halal meat is a term coined by western countries. Halal just means allowed or permitted in arabic, but the word has a very religious connotation to it. Haram is the opposite of halal. for example : cursing your parents is considered haram, eating rabbit meat is considered halal. Halal meat is basically meat that we are allowed to eat. The rule is more about not eating haram : predators are haram, and any animal (that doesn't live in the sea of course) killed without being sliting the throat is what makes the meat haram. The rest is halal. - the football thing : 99% of guys played football (soccer) since the age of 4-5 in the neighborhood. It's actually absolutely normal thing to offer to join a game you encountered (provided you are not wearing fancy clothes). It's actually normal to find 3-4 people with a ball in an empty place passing the ball and joining them and over time it turns into a footbal game. - drinking : it is absolutely forbidden by islam. but most guys drink even though it's more haram than eating pork. Actually the goverment forbids anyone from selling pork to tunisian people. and yet the goverment is the the only supplier of alcohol in the country. It's called SFBT and it's actually one of the most successful companies owned by the goverment.(The same goes for tobacco/cigarettes). - rings : men mostly wear a silver ring here and it costs less than 50 bucks to get it in my country. The women get 2 rings : one for the engagement and one for marriage. Their prices can vary by so much here but usually doesn't go above 1k dollars. Most common price would be 500-700 dollars. And it's a ring that looks good and not considered cheap. (I could be wrong on these numbers) Once again, I welcome any question about my country and culture. And I'm not saying that MEd is any of the things I detailed.

while her kids shouldn't be responsible for her emotional regulation, i think the crying is because of cognitive dissonance. danielle is not delusional, she knows 100% what's up and she's aware it's all gonna collapse any second. don't get me wrong, i think she's still essentially twisting someone's arm to have a relationship with her. Long story short, he was detained and searched all because he couldn’t remember an address. After 3 hours of me having to answer incredibly invasive questions over the phone in front of everyone at the help desk, and having to beg nasty staff for help and information, we finally met for the first time 😂 So just that part, I sympathise with Danielle.
