Despite him having this one sided make believe romance with his car, he seems like a genuinely… stable…?…person? Didn’t blame anyone. Didn’t get defensive. His dad and friend are VERY understanding. It’s damn near rare to find that kind of understanding of someone’s weirdness. In my opinion, he’s not really hurting anyone, so he’s okay. Or do they return him to the joy and excitement of his first car, which likely happened when he was in his late-teens / early 20s? They treat these 'relationships' like other people treat their romantic partners, because that's how they see that object, so it's all real to them and they react just the same as a normal couple; they anthropomorphize these objects.

@@Reddzion kinda does. Spectrum disorder is a processing disorder, all sorts of wires get crossed sometimes. That's the same reason some noises and textures are physically painful. But finding weird stuff hot vs pulling away from socialization and falling in love with the subject is latestage stuff, when no proper intervention or support is occurring. Like how lots of people can be clinically depressed without ending up in a tier 5 hoarder house... but it can happen if things just aren't goin right. I get the impulse to laugh when we see stuff like this, to make easy money covering it, but it all feels like actively making a problem worse tbh.

(i'm going through an assessment of being on the spectrum myself plus already having other disorders) But i also try to not use "being on the spectrum" as the 'excuse/reasoning' behind everything as it'll get to a point where it doesn't make sense. you can tell that this guy has a good dad and that non of this is his dads fault... cause of how he reacted to his son bringing up this hard to talk about topic. his dad said all the right things. even though we all know that his dad already saw the previous episode and that he already knew about it... maybe they really had not had the conversation yet... but if that was the real way his father reacted to that news... then his dad is fucking awesome and i wish everyone had a dad like that. he did not laugh at him, smirk, make fun of him, try to make him feel insecure, he did not try to bully his son into adopting his own world view. his dad was just supportive and listened.

Oh no, he like males, all his vehicles are male, and the Lex car (not Lexy, Alexa, Alexandra) is male in his mind, it felt so different from how he talked about the others, he was horny when presenting the male cars while referring to Lex as female was so bland in comparison. I promise it's the homophobic crap in the US that makes him present 1 as female. "I may be nuts but I'm not GAY! I'm not THAT nuts, sheesh". Yeah, that's your primary concern.🙄 It would be so sad if he went this route because he just couldn't bare to come out as gay, I wouldn't be surprised.

I thought Mr. Car Fucker was talking to a guy friend about fucking his car but when you said "daddio", I snapped back to reality (gravity, spaghetti) and screamed, "WAIT, THAT'S HIS DAD?????" Dude, my dad STILL doesn't know I'm trans, five years after all my surgeries. We just told him I have PCOS and had to have a double mastectomy because I was diagnosed with breast cancer!
