It's okay- I was EXACTLY like you when I watched this scene. I was leaking! All the way until Mitsuri scene when Zohakutan burned up, I was balling my eyes out. ...and I read the Manga and KNEW she'd live! And I still cried like a baby. The music... the animation... the "camera" (perspective?) angles... the voice acting! It was so incredibly well done. I don't think I've cried that much during one single scene... ever. I think it was the doctor's medicine that kept him FROM being a demon. It's what allowed him to walk in the sun. He's been wanting to find that flower to recreate the medicine so that he can move about in the daytime again. That's why he was so excited to find Nezuhko. Now he doesn't need the flower.

Awesome journey guys! Loved it all! Especially, Cara's emotional response to Nezuko possibly dying! The one thing about anime is the great storytelling. It can really tug on your heartstrings and make you weep like never before. Just a request, could you possibly flip the episodes. 24:43 From my view and understanding, considering the themes and spirituality of demon slayer. The doctor did give him medicine to extend his life, and it would've worked normally, but because he committed a sin, by murdering the doctor, he was punished by the gods with this demon form. Which is why it showed the medicine staining with blood, as in it was "corrputed" by this act. Had he been patient and humble, and accepted and "let go" (which is one of rhe main things in Buddhism) he probably wouldve been okay. This is just my view as an artist. Its probably not true, but my headcanon.
