Like everyone, I thought Muzan would be really angry and annoyed that he just lost another 2 of his upper moons, but the fact that he doesn't care and is just happy he found a demon who can survive in the sun shows how selfish he really is. It just shows that he doesn't care for any of his demons at all (not even the strongest ones) and just uses them to do his biddings.

I can't tell if that doctor was actually a doctor attempting to help him with good intentions, or the reason Muzan called him an "inept doctor" was because he wasn't actually trying to save him, but instead just experimenting on him with different medicines and drugs. Cause I feel like it'd be weird to just gain demon-like powers from taking normal medicine.

Muzan is not a villain that is concerned with world domination or has an evil master plan in any way. Muzan, even as a human, was a psychopathic, anti-social, anti-human narcissistic who only cared about himself and had no value for human life. We see him lying in his bed feeling hatred for living beings and wishing to destroy them just because. And he kills his doctor because the medicine isn’t working. The doctor is trying hard to cure Muzan, but Muzan does not care. If he cannot cure Muzan, then he can die. Who this doctor really was, how he created this “medicine” and where he found the Blue Spider Lily, is a complete mystery at this point in the anime. Muzan is obsessed with perfection. He’s obsessed and hell-bent on being perfect, eternal, and eternally perfect. Having perfect power, perfect looks, perfect freedom. To a psychopathic sadistic narcissist like him, not being able to go out in the sun is a humiliation. That’s why he uses the word “conquer”. Conquer the sun. This is because he sees the sun as being the only thing more powerful than him, and he refuses to accept this. I like the twist that the state of being a demon is not a satanic or supernatural thing, but rather a disease. This would explain why the only way to become a demon is to be exposed to demon blood in your bloodstream. That is, to be infected.

Muzan grew frustrated and then killed him because he thought the medicine was not working after taking it for so long. Only to find out later it was working when the demonic effects started to occur. The doctor had no idea it would have those effects on Muzan. He just wanted to cure him.

I think Nezuko was able to conquer the sun because of multiple reasons like Tanjiro bringing back her human self, Urokodaki’s hypnosis, her connection with the sun breathing techniques, and her bloodline.

Every breathing form derives from sun breathing, so it’s safe to say that if tanjiro puts the effort and specific training, he could use any of the other breathing styles (he’s basically the avatar lol). But he of course won’t be as good as like Zenitsu who really specializes on Thunder Breathing

Tanjiro is sun breathing wielder. All other breathing styles were derived from the Sun breathing as told by Rengokus dad. Thats wh Tanjiro can do all of them essentially.

A common theme that I've seen from this series is that willpower does have an effect on your body. Just as a crack addict can break half of the bones in their body and keep running full speed, Tanjiro can ignore the pain in his legs and keep going, and Nezuko can reject the natural instincts that demons have. Granted, there's a little more leeway being in a world where demons exist and people can harness the elements through their breath.

I read the manga and if you read the panel from when Tanjiro gets flashbacks in episode 19, you can see the Blue Spider Lily in his memory. This means he and Nezuko have been exposed to the Blue Spider Lily, which is what makes you immune to sunlight as a demon, so thats why she can overcome the sun. The reason Muzan hasn’t found it yet is because it only blooms during the day and are very rare, so his only resort is to eat a demon who does contain it in blood

Don't forget every other breath style branches from sun breathing which Tanjiro is extremely compatible with so it does make sense that you could apply sun breathing to other techniques to a basic degree. Also the last demon is very clever because they can sorta be thought of like daki and gyutaro in that resentment lives in fears heart most of the time. But right before he was about to die his fear turned to resentment which is like very real for some people. It's sorta confusing it definitely wasn't the same as gyutaro appearing from within Daki but that transformation is also a strong metaphor and it was a crazy what the hell moment in this long tension filled battle.

By the way, Tanjiro is not using thunder breathing, though i get why people misunderstand it that way. Tanjiro is just utilizing a technique that Zenitsu tells him about, it's not necessarily exclusive to thunder breathing either as we for example see Rengoku use something similar in the Mugen train arc. It's just that thunder breath users seemingly are able to utilize the technique to it's fullest making them faster than anyone else.

I think nezuko is so goated because she has never consumed human blood but sleeps for energy all other demons from what we know have to consume blood to survive, shes also insanely strong and daki pointed out in the fight with her that shes as strong as an upper moon without consuming flesh. YES! I’ve seen a manga panels that are just as good as the animation! I’ve seen manga panels that made me cry, that’s gave me chills and got me so hyped and maybe some that were better then the animation version..but usually the studios do a very good job at making them great so idk if I can say they are better then the manga panels.
