The HT community is full of people willing to help and not act jealous about each others setup, I can tell you were having a ball in a theater that was "better" than yours. I have a very nice setup but I actually like going to see setups that are "better" than mine to learn and get ideas. Great job as always Youthman.

I saw there is an update to the comments which allows me to use your software. If i time stamp a video is there anywhere I can upload the file too so others have access to it? Anyway thank you again.

By my estimation there is at least $70K in this excellent Home Theater. In my opinion the three gems of this theater is the JVC NX7, the 166" acousticly transparent screen (Widescreen format), and of course the JTR subs. The rest of the JTR speakers I'm sure are very good, but they are quite bulky. Love the matte black of the Theater, that's always best. Glad you enjoyed it Mike. Now get back here (central Florida) healthy and safe buddy.

I know what Michael is talking about when he says that the clarity and detail never lacked. A new friend of mine replaced his front stage set up as LCR going from the awesome Klipsch Ultra 2's to the even more awesome Noesis line from JTR. Though the Klipsch sound great, they just couldn't keep up with powerful bass from his JTR subs. His new Noesis speakers from JTR completely performed during every scene. They didn't get drowned out by the bass, not even once. I was really amazed at that because at a glance, you might not realize how great of a speaker Jeff from JTR has built.

Awesome home cinema and has centre seats directly in line with the middle of the screen that a lot of people mistakenly forget to do in their home cinema. Usually see a row of two seats with none having a direct line to the middle of the screen. As for the DBOX stuff I've tried bass shakers, 4DX etc, found them to be a tiresome gimmick that wears off quickly. Would never use them again in a commercial or home cinema. Those luxurious leather seats do look comfy though 😆

@youthman. I just love how excited you are man! 😂😂😂. My son looks and acts the same way every time I give him money to spend at a smyths toy superstore 😂😂😂😂. I have a relatively simple question. And maybe more to come just on this one video. But could I start with. Q. Can we learn more about the software used, to control the fans? Simple. Thing is, I run a rather high end pc included in my system, and while I may not be able to afford the seating with motion etc, the fans could be interesting. Because it doesn’t have to end with just fans, laser lights, smoke, I’m sure theyl be much more too. Thanks buddy. Great video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I have always realized that is the “accurate” way but still sometimes refer to various systems as .2 or .4 as people know exactly what you have if you say I have a 9.4.6 instead of having to say I have a 9.1.6 with four subwoofers.

@@Youthman btw, i know that those seats are kind of impossible to get, but if you are reading the AVS forums, there is a thing called a BOSS system (Baffle open sub shaker). It's quite cheap to do and everyone who has build one, likes it. I plan on doing one my self. It gives a ton of tactile response under 15hz, down to even 3hz. When you have time you can check it :).

Yes, Tony has 3 DBOX seats that are not like the new $3699 seats. The $3699 seats have only 2 moving legs on the front of the seat with the back 2 legs stationary. Tony’s center seats has 4 independent moving legs, and his 2 side seats have 3 moving legs in a tripod configuration (2 front legs and 1 back center leg) That is the older, much more expensive hardware. However, I have not experienced the new cheaper D-BOX so I cannot say how it compares to Tony’s seats.

@@Youthman you're so right! Sorry about that. 😳 I think at that moment I was looking at my wife telling her how awesome those front speakers were. I watched, with excitement, every second. It's weird that room is 32' long and 17' wide. I'm planning one 24×17×10 and I believe I can get 4 seats in front row and 5 in back, while it looks like those 3 are almost wall to wall in same width. The video also makes it seem like the front row is crazy close to the screen. I guess not with 32' of length. Finally, I'm considering the JVC NX7 and wanted a really wide screen...it was nice to see this setup to help me calculate the screen size to go with. Thanks again, Michael!
@nicko880
@nicko880 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheJoeyPeacock The front seats are 14ft head-to-screen. Also you must consider this room was originally designed as an audiophile listening room. There is 7ft of space behind the screen, and there is also a couple feet behind the back of the projector as well. There is a lot of stuff crammed into the room making it seem much smaller than it is, but still making the most out of what space there is.
