THE MOST EPIC TUNA TRIP EVER!!!!

I just had to break this video up into a few parts. Just so much amazing footage.
In part 1 we find Brit beating up a few. Zac and Mike double up. And a 70 lb Yellowfin Tuna makes mince meat out of my outrigger.
Stand by for parts 2 and 3 or maybe just a Part 2. Not sure yet. We caught 13 or 14 Yellowfin and stopped putting out hook baits to swim with them!!!

Great video.. notice you guys use the rod cushions vs fishing belts - do you think the rod butt cushions are easier to fight a fish vs the belt? Also have you ever done a video on your equipment for tuna chunk vs troll (if there is any difference). Going to star to venture near shore next year out of OC MD looking at equipment needs. The rod cushions are nice for the lighter gear when we are chunking and need to be very mobile. It puts more strain on the back though! At some point I will break down every single rod/reel combo I use for the offshore application. Probably in the offseason.

Looks like the end of this week is looking good. Hopefully we can all get back out there again. Would really like to get on these fish again. Last time I was out it was the same way. Tuna right under the boat in the slick, and the tuna ripping the baits right out of your hands. All 60-80 lb class fish too

The young men and women of the coast guard do their duty, protect our country, protect those fisheries you are on, and would risk their young lives to save you.
