(Unpopular opinion?) I think Trick might be as accomplished or even better than Zoink by year's end. Zoink's two biggest flaws are not beating *VSC* and *Codependence.* A: Trick has already beaten VSC with an impressive attempt count. B: He plans to beat Codependence and is practicing with other *2p levels.* Trick is known for his dedication to long grinds, but he has also shown significant raw skill. He performed well against wPopoff in the *Slaughterhouse* race, a level wPopoff spent much more time on. (He beat unnerfed Slaughterhouse and has been playing it for fun since beating slaughterhouse.) Trick is beating hard levels faster, like *Avernus,* which he started long after Diamond but finished shortly after. He also achieved first victor in many main lists, *beating 20+ main list levels in under 5 weeks.*

My guess is that GRIEF is going to be verified in a few months, with APT following it, both of which hopefully before the GD awards, which'll solidify Trick as the best player of the year in people's eyes. This is, of course, unless Doggie does something crazy following GRIEF or Zoink verifies another top one or something. By the way, you're one of the most underrated channels I've seen on here, and your commentary was excellent. Keep up the good work!

I think Zoink, Trick, Popoff, and Doggie all have a good shot at winning best player. Zoink might still come back real strong with Nullscapes and Doggie has Grief. Trick is quite underrated in terms of skill I think and Popoff has some crazy talent and potential. iirc APT is getting nerfed and idk if popoff is planning to finish a top 1 verification, so I think the main top demons to look out for this year are Nullscapes, Grief, and ouroboros. and Thinking Space II next year perhaps :p

First off, best of luck on bloodbath Personally I believe Doggie will win the award considering he's the least controversial player among the three and verifying a top 1 especially doing streams and getting consistent progress just gives you immense traction in the community, however I do think Trick very much would deserve this award aswell with the sheer amount of skill and consistency he's shown About wpopoff I'm honestly as skeptic about him as you are but I do think it's unfair to be guilty until proven innocent so it's not like I don't acknowledge his achievements, I do think it's simply too early for him to win an award like this when the other two players mentioned have more personality, achievements under their belt and have shown immense dedication to top play over a long period of time

id say popoff is the best in raw skill because hes honestly been popping off recently beating main list levels in incredibly low attempt counts and fluking levels like aod from 61, and with doggie id say he is one of the more underrated player in terms of skill getting insane runs on true unnerfed slaughterhouse, and trick is just overall a really good player, so it’s up to the future to see who comes at the top of the leaderboard. Id like to mention taigo aswell, he’s incredibly underrated and honestly has a chance of getting to the top of the leaderboard aswell as the players mentioned before.

I think Trick will still win because of all those completions he has. It looks like Trick started with the Hallucination on February 2024, and he finished all 29 lists in June 2024, meaning 4 days per list demon (average). IMO Trick has more experience and current skill but Popoff has more potential.

trick deserves best player so far this year i'd say, although popoff would be a close second in my opinion. Zoink hasn't done a whole lot this year, and even if Doggie verifies Grief this year, I still don't think that means he's the best overall.
