I have been there twice, my interior designer friend was working in a new house there! Unfortunately Steyn City is not open to the public! Which on the other side is good for the value & security of those who invest there!

So you can buy a mega mansion for R20 million or a 3 bedroom apartment for R8.2 million...3 bedroom double story townhouse with a garden for R5 million...those apartments will drop eventually..

I think you are comparing apples & watermelons! Sandton consist mostly of suburbs of free standing homes like Sandhurst, Hydepark & Bryanston from the early 90s! While Steyn City is purpose built locked in, exclusive multipurpose Estates post 2010 like Waterfall! You can't compare such private developments with traditional suburbs!
