I had an ex-girlfriend who's uncle had a beautiful home on Lake Angelus. It was a couple doors down from ice skater, Todd Eldredge. That city is only the homes ON the lake. The neighbors across the street are not considered to live in Lake Angelus. Pretty cool. Love your videos and humor!

Kinda surprised Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Bingham Farms, Ferndale, and Southfield didn’t make the list. Ferndale and Southfield have absolutely ridiculous taxes from what I’ve heard from my parents. Huntington Woods does have a few million dollar homes, same with Royal Oak and even Pleasant Ridge. Though I bet the average home prices are way lower than the ones on here, which is probably why they weren’t on this list. Bingham Farms is right next door to Franklin and I remember that area being very expensive. Not quite Franklin/Bloomfield Hills expensive, but still up there. When I worked as a service porter at Erhard BMW (when they were still at Maple & Telegraph) I had to deliver customer cars to that area all the time and there are tons of large homes with large lots in that area.

Cool video Paul I wanted to make one like that where I live but how do you get all the video footage from all the different cities, I'm sure you didn't drive to each one of those locations to get b-roll of strangers homes
@Panguinguy2 жыл бұрын
Wow, didn’t know that about Lake Angeles. I know you get your cut on the expensive houses but I can’t buy a million dollar home! What about kids looking for their fist house or retirees (I’m soon to be one) or maybe even homes in northern Michigan?

Hey Tom! I can help you all over the state and have awesome agent friends in other cities that I don't work. Send an email my way: paul@movingmi.com

Does that correlate to why I'm finding places for sale in the Bloomfields (West/Hills/Township) built in the 80s/90s to have pricey HOA fees ranging ~$400-600?
@PaulWolfert2 жыл бұрын
Yep! And probably prices to match - reach out if you don't have an agent 😀 paul@movingmi.com

So your taxes stay the same from the time you bought the house? It doesn’t go up every year? In Washington it doesn’t matter when you bought it your house goes up in value, and they will get you , they do assessments a lot here and your house payments go up all the time!
@PaulWolfert2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. If you're an owner-occupant, taxes go up slightly every year but not at the full value of the house. If you're a landlord or own the home as a second residence, they go up with the value. I explain it all in this long and BORING video about property taxes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6Pbdphjgbusf7s

Title: most expensive place. Video begins: most expensive cities. Guessing you don't leave the Detroit area too much. No Charlevoix, no Harbor Country, just Detroit metro.
@PaulWolfert9 ай бұрын
I've changed the title multiple times. This was a video of the highest sales in Michigan and those cities were not on it. If they were, I would have included them.
