@@stingyrogerr No plans to stop?...that's exactly what I needed to hear. That said, I can tell you, there's no brake crying/ squelching produced from Honda's front rotor...Never. The CRF150R forks are a perfect match. However, it requires an adapter to use CRF230"s calipers. From the factory in a few short years, true motorcycle forks and brakes will be standard. Sweet build...You're the God Father of these bikes.

Nice one bro 👍 cant wait to get my volar sport brakes too 😁 But you still dont use the regenbrake lever i give to you 😂 Only the reverse function to get the bike out of your shed? 😂
@stingyrogerr2 ай бұрын
I use the reverse to turn around 🤣 but the thing is I use the regen when on road and cruising but not on trails because i concentrate on where I’m going and use brakes without thinking, regen is electronic delay and take some muscle memory 🤣

Ohh I was just thinking of buying a full yamaha front end for my ron. Been going a bit fast and on some harder trails. The front end has been starting to feel a bit flimsy and uncontrollable. Interested in how you like it long term. ✌️
@stingyrogerr2 ай бұрын
I would advise against a regular mx front end as youd need the mx brakes, front wheel and bars and crowns. This adds up to serious extra weight probably double these. Wait for my next video where I release a link to buy these from the shop in italy. They use the talaria/surron front wheels, regular brakes, regular crowns and also regular bars. 11-15kg up front will kill your fun imo!

get some more vids on, maybe an update on the 0 60 mate. Or maybe set both the sting and the surron at same power see how they drag against each other.

What about Fastace 2.0? Why did you remove it from your bike?
@stingyrogerr2 ай бұрын
Because I have a chance to test these new forks which are motocross forks which have lightened internals with 235mm travel. I keep changing to new products for my youtube channel to bring viewers fresh content and parts. The fast ace 2.0 are really good i gave them to my brother and he got rid of his fox 40, those are best under £1500. These forks cost more than £1500 but are not comparable as full size moto forks which only weigh 500g more than the fast ace. I believe these are first of their kind direct light weight fit!

Just fyi you have the front brake routed wrong. The reason being whenever you tip over it’s easily exposed on the outside. The only time I see the front brake routed like this is on the street. 👍🏼 since odds of you falling is much lower, and usually it’s to have enough space for a larger rotor
