Aaron Donald once climbed to being considered the best player in all of football...as a defensive tackle. That is rare, and that is because he put immeasurable fear into his opponents' eyes and blocking schemes.

Hopefully we still get to see him around the team in the future, but he gave us more than we coulda asked for. Give it time, like 10+ years for the recency bias to go away, and the respect for this man will be on another planet, people dont understand just how good he really was.

It’s a rarity in sports to have your favorite team have an all-time great player during the peak of their powers. Like you, I’m a life-long Rams fan, but too young to remember the GSOT Rams, so most of my life growing up they were bad/mediocre. Since AD showed up, it’s like a brand new franchise. Will never take for granted watching him dominate on defense, week after week, like only a handful of players in league history have. Just so lucky this legend played every down with the horns on his helmet. Thank you AD, for everything. Get that #99 in the rafters. Like you said, the greatest Ram ever.
