Appreciate the reviews! Come on, peeps, subscribe! Hannah does great work and we guys can learn probably more from her than most. People not at 100 MPH need probably a little more spin and loft. More accurate and some more carry. Love this time of year with new drivers but not their prices!! Now, my OG Epic was tough to beat years ago so maybe I'll look. Ha! I know all about shoulder injuries. Watch those rotator cuff muscles and do some exercises for them.

Great review Hannah. You went into more depth than the other reviews I’ve watched, which I liked. Interesting to get your insight into swing paths etc. The performance of both those heads, and your ball striking, was very impressive. No wonder you’ve put it into the bag.

Very good review Hanna. Relates well to us slower swinging senior golfers. We like our driving distance which has eroded with age but also I have never hit so many fairways when I was younger. Good dispersion from the senior tees really helps set up shots to keep the handicap in the single digit. This Callaway driver may not get our distance further but it is certainly worth pursuing should dispersion troubles occur. Right now I plan to stay with my Ping g430max10.

Thanks, Hannah. Your swing speed is similar to mine, so echoing what other people are saying, it's very relatable content. You do a great job with the reviews, so keep it going. I am not so keen on the green, but that's subjective, I guess. I prefer a more monotone driver look that TaylorMade and Cobra are using.

Great Video Hannah, always tempted to get a Callaway driver but always get prices out with the cost, always fought last years model looked and sounded great but this one does look tempting and does look good, especially as a new golfer who still hits from all over the club face. Happy New Year 🎉

Start of the year - latest driver tech giving you a 1% improvement IF you have a swing like Hannah…most don’t and think their £600 expenditure will solve this!! Go get some lessons instead. Hannah’s dispersion on those drives was fantastic 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Great video! I was going to question your use of a stiff shaft until you mentioned your shoulder injury. But perhaps regular would suit you better until you're back to full speed?

I find my release pattern generally suits a stiff shaft best but I think maybe a lighter weight like 45 is best. I’ve been testing a 40 stiff from Srixon that was really good

Excited to test these 2 drivers and the new hybrids, I like the color scheme and styling. I have a fairly high swing speed and normally have a draw shape but the big miss is a slice. Having the weight forward may cause problems with forgiveness with the standard head for me but ultimately I want as neutral shot shape as possible. Will need the right shaft combination I guess. Replaced my irons in December with the Apex AI 300’s looking to complete my bag. Callaway make great stuff will go with whatever works best from the new range.

@hannahholdengolf On a related topic, I have an idea for a future video fro you. I do NOT bomb drives down the middle because I can't get my brain to stop trying to kill the ball. Is there a strategy or drill to allow people like me to take smooth easy swings with long clubs? It seems the longer the club is in my hand, the harder my brain wants me to swing it... I know it's bad, but it's tough to stop.

@hannahholdengolf I've tried, with limited success. I'm pretty good at a nice slow controlled backswing, but once I pull the trigger, all the trouble begins.

Good review, and like your thoughts. I am lucky enough to have tried all three of the new drivers, i currently play the AiSmoke triple diamond. I was underwhelmed, my existing driver was longer and had better dispersion, i also found the new drivers ugly. So i wont be changing my driver, not that i was in the market to, its just my pal is a fitter, so had a day trying various manufacturers 2025 models. There will be some that will buy them, however beware, last years drivers new are now £330 over £200 cheaper, so think about it.

Beautiful drives and great swing. I’ve watched a lot of your past videos over the years, there are other drivers that you have hit further and just straight so I don’t think this new one is worth The big price they are asking. All the claims to fame that Callaway has made over the past few years. They can only get so good. Great review, I think you will find another driver that likely performs better for you by at least another 5 yards or further and straight. Lots of great stuff yet to come.

great review but cant get over the audio, i have them mics and they are always a bit high even from zero gain. i would always lower it on the transmitter and receiver to stop the clipping and then higher the gain in post.

Hello Hannah, I have just watched your insightful video. I am currently playing with a Callaway Rogue Driver (2018 version) and Paradym X irons. The irons were custom fitted and the driver is set at 12.5 loft. How frequently would you recommend updating/upgrading a Driver, I am a 14 handicap golfer with quite a slow swing speed. I would appreciate your thoughts

@@anthonycoombes6809 hello! I would say every 3-5 years depending on how often you are playing and wearing irons out. I think 3 years is a timeframe where you would see a reasonable jump in technology but then again if the clubs you have are performing well there is no need. I always say you should think about what you want to gain eg distance or forgiveness or shot shape and only swap if you find something that helps!

I don't mind the driver looks, and probably prefer the matte finish, though interestingly the TD model is still glossy and without a chevron...looks completely different all over really. I have played the AI Smoke Max and have to say it was impressive on consistency and forgiveness on mishits, retaining ball speed etc. The Elyte maybe ups the aerodynamics a bit.

I’m not critical of your review, which is excellent, it’s just that having checked last years review the numbers are virtually identical for carry and total distance (and if I was to be really picky the test from 2 years ago was virtually no different either !). So is the story this year “forgiveness and accuracy” ?
