These men are not forgotten, they will remain with us forevermore. The deaths of the 141 guys, Truck and Grinch, Dimitri, and Griffon hit really hard. Especially Griffon after we fought with him for such a long time only for him to be ripped from us in an instant. Rest in peace brothers. Your fight is now over.

Fun fact: MW3 has alternate outcomes depending on if you have the graphic filter on or off. If you have it on, the truck you stop at the end of “Mind the Gap” will explode, killing Wallcroft, Burns and the other SAS/bystanders.

For me the commom NPC and those more present (like Scarecrow) hurt the same as the loss of a main character. The death of a friendly soldier always hurt

There are actually two Delta teams: Granite team, who you see die after breaching the room. And Oynx team which is that team you find dead after jumping of the building, their deaths can actually be seen in the start of the level because they’re in the helicopter that gets shot down in the opening sequence.

I don’t know if this counts, but Viktor, the other guy who always survives “No Russian”, is the Spetsnaz commander found dead with the HVI in “Exodus”. He’s a villain, but also has a minor role in the story. I also find it makes “Exodus” more interesting that the HVI was so important, Makarov sent one of his most trusted operatives to capture/kill him.

5:29 I never forgot them and in fact I cried at the age of 12 when I had to stop Kashima's bleeding and I was left with the burden of not finding a first aid kit to save his life, and what hurt me the most about Gator's death: is that he couldn't meet his daughter (or so it is said in his final message at the end of INFINITE WARFARE)

The most forgotten friendly faction I think is the Czech rebels. They are my personal favorite... the way they charge into the tank and all die.. completely fearless soldiers. Also that safehouse with all of them... jeez.
