The Most FRUSTRATING Airsoft Game I've EVER Played (WE Apache MP5 GBB)

We are at Airsoft GB and I'll be playing with the WE Apache MP5 GBB for the very first time... I think it's fair to say, this is probably the most frustrating Airsoft game I've ever had.
For those of you who don't know much about the WE Apache, the "out of the box" performance can be temperamental and is prone to overhopping even with heavy BBs. Despite the occasional issues, I still had an amazing day with this amazing platform!
I've now made a few internal changes to the MP5 and it is shooting so much nicer. The next video will be redemption for the MP5!

The one thing I hated with the WE MP5, was pulling the mag out, and then you have to thumb over the dry fire lever to be 100% sure it was off and then load. Also their hop up set up out the box is total garbage. Throw a Maple leaf barrel and rubber set in their ASAP, and ditch the O ring behind the hop lever. Thanks for some more awesome content JAG

Awesome! I love the MP5s. It take balls to play the game with such low cap mags compared to players rocking ARs loaded with EPM1 mags and other high cap mags. I'm currently working on finishing up my build of a MPK with a P* F2 engine in it. Should be a fun one when its done and working the way it should be. She's all gusssied up!

Hope you dive into the internals of the apache in the future - I've had the same over hopping issues, as well as the rif running too hot for Ireland's 1joule limit even with a low power nozzle. Always found the that WE out the box you need to strip down rebuild and tighten the loose parts or it eats its self. But that being said I've always upgraded my barrel and replace the hop rubber straight away and I tend to be fairly good my WE 888(417) open bolt is fantastic its pretty much still stock other than seal replacements and hop rubber after 9 years running

Kinda off topic question but I know you run the Delta Mike face pro and I'm thinking about giving it a go I just wanted to know if it like digs in to your nose or anything like that Also love the HK slap👌

I use delta Mike too after jags recommendation the mesh part can be easily moulded to fit your mouth/nose if u wanna put it that high. Been using it since March/April last year it’s comfy no issues with it dropping down or digging into me, doesn’t cause any fogging issues either got my mate to get one as he was using the traditional mesh face mask and he kept saying it dug into his nose over time but says it’s night and day difference.

As and AEG user I have to ask, what exactly is a dead man's click? Does it have to do something with overpressure or something?

a "dead man's click" is when you pull the trigger and no ammunition to be fired in the chamber. It mostly happens on MP5s due to the fact that they cannot bolt lock when there's no ammunition (unlike in ARs and/or some guns where their bolt locks) in which you will hear the click sound, hence the "dead man's click".

Great gameplay video, your skills make the video more interesting But still don’t understand why people keep purchasing WE shits lol Of coz they’re cheap, but I don’t think paying 300 usd for a trash is cheap lol Bad quality, bad internals, bad gas efficient, 300 usd for all these… I think it is unacceptable, sometimes you also have to spend more money, buy parts to “upgrade” it to be a playable thing, then why don’t people just buy a vfc lol

it depends on the system itself. The WE Apache is probably the best MP5 GBB avaible for now, since the VFC have some major flaws and issues and VFC is usually pretty expensive in most areas to get. For now there are sadly only two MP5 GBB systems. So either you buy the not so good but still skirmishable WE Apache or you buy the nicer looking VFC wich will fall apart after a short amount of time. At least WE Apache is cheap enougth you can spend some budget on the needed upgrades. So far, I can say my own MP5K Apache performs well enougth, decided now to throw a Maple Leaf bucking in it, next Thursday, it will show if it will perform any better than before.

@@DerGepard1 what kind of flaws and issues? VFC guns are not just nicer looking now, those mp5 series perform great out of the box, i tried at least 3-4 of them from my friends. I agree that it is not cheap, but overall I think it is worth it, the polymer doesn’t look cheap and feel like you touching a nerf toy, nothing sounds like gonna fall apart if you shake it, you don’t even have to change any internal parts till you really need them. But WE lol, the reason it is cheap enough you can buy extra stuffs that needed is the quality is so low, you have to mod it before take it to the field lol
