Congratulations! I try to start taking fuel on at about 45 min into race. If you start feeling down/grouchy, take on fuel. Gu's need water too or you may have stomach issues (practice in your training runs). Good luck on your half.

Thank you!! Appreciate the tips! Fueling is definitely something I need to practice. I ate my honey stinger gel early in the race. And then completely forgot to take the Gu I had in my pocket for the second half of the race lol 😂

Glad you found the group to run with! Have you ever thought of joining a running club? That's what my son did. They sign up for marathons together (Joey ran the Paris marathon in the spring with another running mate). They run at 5AM on Saturdays in Dallas (it's hot there!) HAHA. Congrats on your 10 mile run. It did look fun and like the "fans" were real motivators!
