The only material that clashes is the outdated mix of marble, which doesn't align with the home's minimalist industrial aesthetic.

Fair opinion! Personally, I am not a great fan of marble either, but I think it works in this context since there is such a heavy focus on glass. The combination allows the reflective nature of those materials to complement each other. But of course, there are many ways such spaces can be articulated. 😊

Love the design. But liveability is a concern: Near a comercial building judging by the parking lot outside. Privacy issues - too much glass, low fencing. Busy street, neighborhood houses close. Climatisation with that much glass - f.e. working in that office in the summer will be impossible.

Fair concerns! Let me try to give an explanation. Privacy: There is only low fencing by the front of the house, which is facing a low-traffic street. The facade here is practically sealed off with only a single window to the kitchen. Towards the main street, there is a tall wall which no one can peak over. Climatisation: There is brilliant cross-ventilation throughout the home. So despite the abundance of glass, the house remains cool. Hope it helps. 🙏🏼

It works as a regular garage, so you did not miss anything extraordinary. 😉 Only difference is the garage door is clad with the same lacquered aluminum as the rest of the lower volume to ensure it seamlessly blends.

Thank you for the comment. Is it the marble you think makes the house cold? Or something else? I think the architects tried to balance it by applying wooden floors and wall slats as well as adding furniture with warmer nuances. How would you have wanted it?
