In addition to PVP, life everlasting mode is great if you are doing nilathak runs, it can negate the bugged damage from vipers there

@@ohaya1 it's a flat 25 reduced from each and every attack that deals damage. Nihlathak's pet vipers do a small amount of Physical damage tacked onto each frame of Poison damage (this was initially a 'bug' that quickly became a 'working as intended feature'). ~25idr will negate the vast bulk of that damage. From memory, I used to do Nihlathak runs with ~45idr on a kick/trap'sin and I could completely ignore the Vipers. Integer Damage Reduction is far more powerful than people think.

This video is the best I've watched thus far. It has NO outdated information, nor any incorrect information as far as I can see. And yes. So many players are green/gold blind and neglect what the item level of the magic item they didn't pick up is/was. For single player, time travelers (playing old patches) like me, no magic item can ever be best in slot though. 1.07 or 1.08 crafted items always come out on top. Except for charms, which can only be magical quality in SP.

Back in the B-net D2 LoD servers i had one of the best sword known to date. A 199% cruel Colossus blade of haste 5 socked with Ohm, Ohm, Ohm, Shael, Shael. Many offers for trade on that blade, but it remained on my barb until i gave the accounts away. I also got insanely lucky with the smith enchantment on a barb helmet. +2 Barb skills. +2 All Warcry skill. +2 Battleorders skill. 2 socket And ontop of that, it was enchanted with mana and health % on hit... Both the sword and helmet was named after my first HC99 Barb using the Act5 quest to kill the necro. And i only played HC. I played waaay too much D2.

For a lvl 9 hardcore pk chargerdin, a magic etheral vicious pike of self-repair, and hope you get 2 sockets from socket quest. Nice weapon to use for dueling and pking, 1 hit kills. Was using stuff like this back in version 08/09. When people still have bugged gear from 1.06. 40/15 and 3/20/20 are duelers items and been a staple for a long time, any item that is for dueling will have value. It comes down to that. 5all res 20 life small charms not as valuable as above, but still valuable. 15res/15ias jewels not sure if they are still a thing, has value in hc. Pestilent small charm of anthrax, not sure if they have value in this day and age, but they used to for additional tick damage.

@@brad4058 Lol, i traded a lot in this game and picked up a windforce for some crap items and gifted it to a friend who loved amazon. One Soj was worth more than a couple of windforces. I literally could get a shit ton of unique items for a soj. I dont know when the good ol days were for you but mine were there where duping was rare and not even well known.

@@SaithMasu12 I came in around 1.07 after LoD was released. .08 windforces were top tier bows by then and that's with the 40/15 jewels and 100 pdsc charms. The only duping during that time was SoJs so 40 sojs would've netted you a windforce or grandfather. Then around .09 that's when things went to shit with the occy rings and white rings. Then Hex Charms became a thing and that's when I quit the game.

Them damaged reduced items have always been overlooked. We tested them out years ago on an assassin and you can basically negate all damage from pve / PvP. Damage is obviously not as high but it was certainly an alternative way of playing

Atm on my plugy account I have found few nice blue items. My 3 best self found blue items are: - 3 fire 20 fcr circlet. But I need to put 2 socket on it. (finger crossed) - 3 socket 89 life circlet which is funny even if it's not that great either. - I found 1 perfect 3-20-20 small charm and few close to perfect but they are not perfect :P I think those nice blue item are amoung the most fun to identifie because you have 0 expectation. xD I pick up matriarchal jav / monarch shield / circlets on the ground very often. Even blue rings/amy once in a while when I know I'm going to talk to cain and there is still space in my cube. Most of my nice blue item are from gambling tho.

6 bone spear nec heads are gg and in the same build I use a 20fcr 6 bone spear wand. With mana after kill jewels they are in my opinion better than white / spirit combo if your not going for max fcr

Curious why JSTOC didn’t make the list. A St with 158def/65ed/121ar/60life/4soc is worth significantly more than any other item listed and one with perfect stats like I listed is so rare I don’t think it’s ever been found across all realms. This video brings back some memories, back in the 1.09 days I found two godly items. One was a perfect Cruel Eth Balrog Spear of Evisceration, it was the best weapon I've ever had for a Jabzon. Second was a rare eth balrog blade. This was before rare items could roll over 200% ED. It rolled perfect ED, repair over time, had 2 slots, and had damage added on top of it, had another mod I can't remember. I really wish I didn't let my accounts expire when I stopped playing, I legitimately miss that sword, although the new rare rolls kinda made it obsolete. I was filthy rich in 09, then became a filth peasant when .10 hit lmao, I had mostly bugged/hacked items.

Besides 32020, and 45life skillers, the holy Grail of magic items imo would be A a fhr/frw 3OS diadem. Last one i saw sold on d2r jsp went for 45k
