Blizzard is slowly killing the game, trying to bring it down to the level of its "successors." First, they introduced sunder charms because they thought the game was too hard. Then, they added a new rune word for Assassins that's basically a required item for the build to function. What made D2 different from D3 and D4 was the ability to make the same build work with different, albeit weaker, items. Then they introduced Terror Zones-nice and refreshing, but who asked for them? Now, they’ve brought this unbalanced patch. All that’s left is for them to "fix" PvP to D3/D4 standards, and there we have it, folks.

Mostly for enigma, but poison nova is a short poison. makes corpse explosion and other things faster.

Sorc Nova is way more costly. Ppl practically give away PnB skillers and facets. Trangs is usually charsi food so also free giveaways from your friends. Dweb is literally the only expensive thing. Enigma is fun but if you run with hustle armor and 4-6+ 3% frw smc you don't really miss it.

I can’t not go with 125 fcr for this build.. the teleporting is so much better.. and honestly if playing console the auto targeting CE when u just analog the general direction of the screen towards corpses is just so clean, easy, and fast. Plus let’s get serious, killing stuff with CE is the most satisfying way to kill monsters in the whole game.

Huh ? Corpse explosion damage is base on Hp % of monster, so it scales with higher player # as the monsters Hp increases...

@thomasbrooksjr380 yea, that's what you'd think should happen, but for some reason it always takes the HP as if the monster spawned on players1, even if it spawned on players8, making CE useless on players setting higher than 4-5

I wouldn't say C/E useless on P8. It's pretty good still. Most necro builds rely on it at this difficulty. Just need to cast amp with it and not decrep or LR

@@Coooley i know about amp but i wish we had more sources of increased damage buffs, either for bone spear/spirit or for CE. Bone necro really is lacking on players 8 behind stuff like sorcs and hammerdins :( i have thousands of hours with the necro

Poison necromancer is one of the few builds I haven't tried. I just crossed Armageddon druid off my list this Ladder, next one I will make poison necro. Luckily I found my first Griffons Eye last week plus an Ohm same game, so now I won't be quitting the game since I got something new for once. I also got a 3 stat perfect rare jewel I sold for 7 Jah, now I just need to find a 15/40, a perfect 4 stat rare jewel ( 😢 gonna be so hard), a 20life 5 all res small charm, a 41-45 life skiller, Deaths Web, Fathom, and Cham and Zod. In a combined likely 8,000 hours of gameplay over my lifetime I finally found a Griffon, so I could probably go my whole life not finding any of the rest. I'm definitely putting this game to rest after next Ladder is over, though. Hurts to say that a little bit because it's the greatest game ever, but I got stuff to do and I can't just use all my free time with Diablo 2 my whole life 😂 Edit: now that I think about it, I can actually make a poison necromancer right now and use him instead of Nova sorceress as my main instead. More than rich enough to afford one

Amplify damage? Why? It works only for physical damage, no? Unless you are summoning skeletons and have revivals doing phys damage, i don't see how it is useful.

it is, because it has -5% more poison res, so you reach 100% from gear, no need of lower res.

Honestly it all depends on your play style. A poison necro using lower res will still shred everything.

MB is terrible for your pacing in TZs because you get "stuck" teleporting sometimes. Other shields are cool, but you'll be delivering most of your kills on P8 with CE instead of cruising through with nova.

It's actually incredible for HC with one simple change... Just stat for Max Block. You'll get "stuck" teleporting sometimes, but you won't die.
