Mergim, caught you twice already, haha.. i was surprised no one stopped you the first time. you've used the exit ramp of the Starbucks instead of the entry ramp on the other side. there are big arrows at the bottom pointing to the exit ramp that you've not noticed. you've also met an ascending suv.. well, the guards didn't say anything when you've asked them for the bike parking, so i guess it's fine for motorbikes to do that or they do not want to converse in english.. hahahaha & you exited on the entry ramp. by the way, the white villas next to the house with red tiled roof is the Estancia Resort Tagaytay.

It's called pasa-lu-bong, usually a gift/small item you bring to the people at home when you come back from your travels. It could be a souvenir item or food. It's a Filipino tradition to bring something back home when you travel. I like that you do some research before eating at local restaurants. At least you get to choose the best unlike some vloggers who just eat anywhere and end up getting so so food.

@@smolfiddle9337 They can only be found in Taal Lake. I'm not sure if they can be categorized as endangered just because they can only be found in one location. They are thriving in that lake. Maybe they have to be propagated in other lakes as well to ensure their survival.

Also, on the way home, use the sta rosa route instead of the one you used. From the condo , go left (same way as picnic grove) you will encounter a stop light after the starbucks you went in earlier. Turn left, you will notice a lot of cars use that route to go back to manila. Just go straight. You might want to visit the nuvali area.
@TheresaEstrella-iy6vh Жыл бұрын
yes this is for me the faster way from nuvali all the way to sta rosa and take the national highway since only 400cc motors are allowed in Calax from silang to Mamplasan exit then SLEX to C5 or SLEX to Edsa. Next time i hope he can rent a car with justin and show, from Enchanted kingdom to Nuvali then Tagaytay-Twin Lakes for overnight or 2 nights then proceed to Nasugbu white sand beaches for a night or 2 straight ahead from Twin Lakes as we sometimes do.Then go back the same way Calax-Mamplasan exit then SLEX to Filinvest Exit to Filinvest Mall River Park to Molito Alabang/Alabang Town Center then Overnight at Azure hotel then exit to filinvest again (S&R is also there in Alabang) then slex to C5 to Market Market or SM aura to BGC.

Just curious too what your gf said about Bulalo (it's nice to kinda hear too what other Asians think) of our local dishes. Anyways, we loved watching your videos, as always. We have a suggestion btw, you should go to a local market there where they sell beef or you can show us how small the cow looks like there in Tagaytay. A lot of Filipinos descended from Joktan. He was rather known to be of small stature. In case you don't know who Joktan is, he has a brother named Peleg in whose line the descendants of the Israelites come from. The mountain called Mt. Pulag, the tallest mountain in Luzon, got its name from Peleg. Their father is Eber, the father of the Hebrews. It was during Peleg's and Joktan's time when Noah divided earth into 3 parts for his 3 sons.

Oh no! Mergim, Tagaytay is really known for the Bulalo but and we used to go there just for that. but the best bulalo is the home cooked one (our grandmother's haha) and the next best thing is the Bulalo along the highway there.. small eateries with simple huts. But I guess they are not there anymore. Gotta do your Bulalo in one of those fancy restaurants. Just remember tho: the fancier the place, the less authentic their Bulalo is. Ideally, the soup should be on the clear side. Traditional yummy Bulalo is cooked using firewood or coal for that smokey aroma. The restaurants of course use pressure cooker, hence the smokey aroma is absent.
