A shadow man that looks like a ghost boy in a hotel and also a TikTok dance that goes wrong and not the dance I mean something scary goes on behind her Plus much more.

I heard the "spirits walking in water" was actually steam from whales 🐳 blowing in cold temperatures...by far the coolest natural effect one could possibly witness and perhaps may have tricked or fooled ancient locals, much like dirt devils and fogs did ancient Indians in the states. As a pre-teen we lived, briefly, in an old plantation house. Most terrifying place I have ever lived, and that's saying a lot considering all the crazy stuff I have always been able to see and feel. What if, the spirit is not aware it is dead, they are going on, life as usual, then they see us and think we're ghosts, haunting them.? Great video as always Casper. Love your reactions. I'm a Muslim, and the theory I got according to the Qur'an and Islamic lore, that 'ghosts' as in the 'wandering spirits of dead people' don't actually exist, not in our realm. According to the book, when people die, the 'angel of death' aka Azrael spirited our soul away to the afterlife, waiting for the Judgement Day, so there's no way that any spirits would wander about unchecked. I mean, he took his job seriously. What happen is that we have something called Qorin. It's some sort of a djinn-like entity, we can't perceive them, they are basically our 'guardian spirit'. Every single human have them. Even the Djinns have their own invisible Qorin. During Judgement Day, our Qorin will tell God everything about our deeds, good and bad, and nothing we can do about it. Or so the story goes. Now, when humans die, our spirits carried away to the afterlife, but our Qorin stays behind. Sometimes, abandoned Qorins will take form of their former master (namely, us), and do our routine, as if reliving the days when we were alive (after living with us so long, that's all they can do I guess?). That's why the report of 'ghosts' sightings often depict them doing mundane things, such as walking around, staring out of the windows, etc, as if on repeat. That's how the story goes anyway. Interesting that a book of religion actually deny the existence of ghosts 😂 That said, Qur'an didn't deny other forms of spirits and demons though. Demons, Djinn, fairies (the scary ones, not Tinkerbell) are exist. Take it however you will.

Re: Chernobyl, I recommend a book called Voices From Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich. It is a gut-wrenching collection of accounts of the disaster by people who were there, including an account by the wife of one of the soldiers who were literally dropped off on top of the reactor to put the “fire” out.

Ben, you should check out two sites, 'Exploring with Josh and "Sam and Colby." Both these sites did an in-depth on-foot exploration of the Chernobyl site. Josh's video is a bit older, but he went more inside the buildings that you 'aren't' allowed in, whereas Sam and Colby's video is from 2021. Both videos provide fantastic insight and information about this horrific event and the aftermath.

If you're interested in Chernobyl, HBO did a series about its events in 2019. Also, I've watched ghost hunters clips where they explored it and they had to follow special rules -- like they can never sit on the ground or try taking any "souvenirs" back with them.

Did you know... in Norway, there is an area where the people have relied on reindeer as food for generations? Those people have been forced to cull thousands of reindeer every year because they are still so radioactive that they have to be careful where they bury their carcasses.

Josh did an awesome show back in the early 2000’s (I think) called Destination Truth where they investigated haunted areas across the globe, and there were some super scary places he went. The BEST EVER episode is when they went to the haunted forest in Romania called Hoai Baciu. The best part of the episode is when they are up in the old plane scouting out the site and the roof blows off 😆😆. Anyway, that forest is very interesting. He also went to an old castle in another Eastern European country where the Nazis did experiments and there is said to be a well in the middle (the way the castle is built is very fascinating because it is built around this well, like to was built to protect it), that goes straight to hell; I forget the name of that castle, but the stories that surround it are crazy. As for your question about spirits awareness, you are describing two different types of hauntings. A residual haunting is imprinted in the location and will just replay the same thing over and over like recording. A intelligent haunting the spirits will interact with you but even in these types of hauntings the spirit does not always know that they have passed.

The theories you had close to the end of the video actually depict 2 separate types of hauntings, the first would be what you would call a “classic” type of haunting where the entity seems to be aware of itself and its surroundings and just does whatever it wants, when it wants, and how it wants to, the second type is classified as a “residual haunting” where the exact same thing happens over and over with no changes in the acts that happen like the gas station clip from a vid or 2 ago when the guy that recorded it said that every night at the exact same time that the spirit walks by the gas pumps and disappears into thin air. This tells the story in full from the perspective of those involved (played by actors) and is so authentic, truthful and heart wrenching. A wonderful and masterfully constructed drama rendition of such an awful event which I remember happening. Keep up the great work Ben!

Ben, your intro was one of the greatest things i've seen in my whole life. And because of you i got into ghost videos, and i swear i had 2 experiences with shadows, but after years after your videos got another one, i saw shadow figure on the road on my way to work in night, i was on my bike, i didnt stop and just ramboed it, he just diasapeared, i got chills on my toes and kept driving but after a minue or 2 i said i loved it. Thanks, now i went to explore lake where 300 people died in amsterdam with my friend, but nothing.
