Great video, thanks Eric. I know you've said you can use it for driver but I would have though forward shaft lean at impact for the driver is a bad thing as it would promote having the low point ahead of the ball (so you're hitting down) instead of behind (so you're hitting up). Would love a video on how you use the hanger with the driver as club face control for me is a bigger issue with that club. Steve

Works for Driver too. Just got my Hanger yesterday (BD present) and just got back from the range. Never hit my 7 iron better. Took divots (not normal for me) and every shot was solid with a draw. Though I'd try on Driver and it works fantastic. Keeps Bow in wrist and lets you release Driver....with a DRAW! Thanks Eric.

Eric, great stuff as always. I've got the hanger and I do believe the wrist conditions through the swing are super super critical..... but I just can't feel a free swing at, through and following impact with these wrist conditions feels. Can u please do a video of how to realistically follow through and feel like your swinging with the wrist conditions the hanger provides. Thanks
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey AR! I think the issue here is if you have wrist issues (too much extension of lead wrist too early) you SHOULD NOT feel a "free swing". Your free swing leads to those poor wrist angles. You need to feel manufactured wrist angles for a bit until you train it to normal. SO I dont think your issue needs to be fixed, its an error in perception really. Thats good news :)
@AR-ke8wg3 жыл бұрын
@@CogornoGolf Agreed, get the proper wrist conditions first then decrease the grip pressure/tension allowing freedom with proper wrist conditions. I find with manufactured conditions I tend to top the ball because I'm not letting the club release and swing. Video on follow through post impact and beyond would really be a great topic. Also grip pressure and tension with the hanger feels. Thanks Eric.

Question Eric, can you play with this hand pre set at impact, I'm asking as I'm on the field behind me hitting a few chips and pitches, the notification came through that you'd posted a video so while having a break and a drink i watched it, i watched with interest when you held the club at impact with it hovering at waist high, i know i dont get that feel, so i thought I'd pre set my hands at impact a hit a few balls, the area is normally about 250 yards long but for some reason they have only cut to about 130 so I've only got 9 and pitching wedge with me. Pre setting impact with my hands and swinging felt so different, the ball pinged of the face and i hit a couple so long i lost them in the uncut grass, hence my question could you actually play on the course with hands pre set? Feels so powerful
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
You sure can....the issue for most having hands pre set too forward at setup is their shoulders are too open and upper body too forward to start with

Hey Imy! No real reason to be honest! IT worked great with and without it. I like to setup the hanger just inside my right forearm then get it on left forearm by about left arm parallel in backswing I talk about that more here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/harbmJSjj9Gfha8

How do you setup the hanger ? This is setup slightly differently than what the product creator recommends. Your setup is such that you would exaggerate the shaft lean at impact, more than the default setting. Correct ?
@CogornoGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey! I like it about 45* angle at setup....just short of hitting trail forearm It depends on your grip The more to the right you angle it the more exaggerated it is I explain more here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/harbmJSjj9Gfha8

Flattening the left wrist at the top of the swing was a major aha moment for me. But the thing that dramatically improved my stroke in recent practicing was your idea of closing the right shoulder at address. GAME CHANGER!!! I was practicing yesterday & my first swing was not so good. Then it was Oh I forgot to pull my right shoulder back. Next swings totally great. I've yet to take this to the course, but it will be a focus next time out.

Isn't "Holy Grail 2.0" like saying "original copy?" How can it be the holy grail if there was a holy grail 1.0? How many will there be? Also, how can a wrist be too flat? There's flat and there's flat. Flat doesn't get flatter.
