Some shots make a difference if you are right or left handed. Or you prefer draw vs follow.

How do you set that shot up exactly? Is it lined up with the diamonds? Does it matter if the cue ball or object ball is an inch or two off? What degree is the angle of the shot? Do they work or does it make a difference if the ball is frozen to the rail? Is that Willie Mosconi's shot he would practice again and again? Thanks for the video.

@Pumpkinpoolandbilliards-dg3nb Half ball hit, 30 degree cut to the corner pocket. Not applicable for frozen to the rail shots in most cases as they're usually a thinner cut. Not sure about Willie Mosconi, he was a bit before my time.

@@jamesroberts5001 thanks, I think Anthony Beeler made a video with that same exact shot and he calls it the most important shot in pool? I was just practicing it a little to improve my game. Bert Kinister says the straight stop shot is the most important shot in pool in his opinion and he tells people to shoot that shot a million times.

respectfully, you don't need low or left spin for that shot. Adding juice when not needed is one of the biggest mistakes most players make and the main reason for misses. Weight is the main factor here.
