I needed this so much! I'm hormone positive stage 3b inflammatory. I am currently taking letrozole and zoladex. I was taking verzenio which i was extremely excited about but I began having severe shortness of breath. They did an emergent CT scan and found inflammation and possible damage to the top area of my lung. I did have 36 radiations to this same area as well. I have been stressed about getting to the bottom of the cause of my lung inflammation. I really want to be on a cdk4 inhibitor because it shows so much promise for keeping inflammatory cancer away! I just hope there is another inhibitor my insurance will cover or that my doctor can give me a lower dose of Verzenio once my lungs heal. I truly needed this video today. Ive been feeling absolutely beside myself. Thank you for helping me put things in some perspective! God is guiding these doctors and He ultimately is in control of how I stay healed! ❤

Marina, I am at the tail end of my active treatment (chemo, double mastectomy; radiation) and I’m in a place to start working on my mind. I am overall a very positive person but I have been thinking lately about releasing past negative emotions and truly being present, happy, and living without fear. Thank you for all your videos, I have gotten tons of great advice from you while walking thru this. Keep spreading the word and helping others! ❤

I appreciate this so much. I believe that stress was the major factor in my cancer. Things that have helped-1) I changed positions in my job due to poor culture. I really need to find new work, but this is a process. 2-not ignoring the negative emotions -they are real and need to be given attention in order to process them. 3-radical acceptance.❤
@MarinaBlackford8 ай бұрын
Wow. Thank you for sharing that! I love that last point, radical acceptance. We can accept the diagnosis but we don’t have to accept the prognosis. Our healing relies a lot on our mindset. Believe you deserve to heal. 🙏🏼❤️

Marina, what can you tell me about root canals and causing cancer? Is it just a myth?
@MarinaBlackford8 ай бұрын
Aw this is a tough one. I think a root canal done correctly can be fine but I see a lot as a hygienist that are not done well and have to be redone. I like the idea of dental implants as an option if needed. This can replace a decayed, broken or dead tooth with titanium that integrates well with bone.

@@MarinaBlackford I want to thank you for replying 🥰,I really appreciate it. How can I find out if it was done correctly? I have 2.

Marina, how are you managing being post menopause since the removal of your ovaries? Do you have hotflashes? I had to have everything removed due to endometrial cancer and my hotflashes started within a couple of weeks. 😐

I’m managing great. No hot flashes except if I drink alcohol which is pretty rare. I managed with sheex cooling sheets and ashwaghanda supplement at night.

Hi! Thank you for the question. I would refer to your doctor on this one. I default to more healthy foods like vegetables and fruit. Less processed foods. And non-GMO soy is OK.
