Forget strict calorie and macro calculations blah blah fuck it just train like a horse move shit around and exhaust yourself like an idiot, then eat loads of dense food, meat milk carbs mostly natural stuff as much you want or can. Best gains and recovery i ever had. Shit autoregulates itself eventually and your fat levels stabilize in the normal range. Shredded? No. Strong and thick and healty? Yup. Develop an intuitive understanding of your body, your energy levels, appetite and digestion. After that, no program or training routine or philosophy is needed. You'll need so many carbs, so much energy, to lift those weights and to even maintain your size let alone increase it. The fact that you bother with all this tells me you've stuck with what you talked about years ago - it's all you! Eric, the attitude at 3:00 is excellent. Some people do it, and some people just talk about it. Even better, nobody knows if they will live to see tomorrow. I accept that, and I like hearing it from you as you bulk your body. However, the big harvests from a fruit tree come in the later seasons. The purpose of building the body is to live the rest of your life with the benefits of your strength and size. Making a contribution is the fruit, while having kids and being there for them and for your parents. That's what I think. This is my comment so I'm saying what I think. So look after yourself. Don't burn any of your organs. Be patient, and be wise. Even a top milking goat increases both her total lactation and her litter size in later litters, increasing her yield all the way to the fifth year of life. How? Her frame size increases, her milk production effciency increases, and her experience increases as she actually learns how to eat, to kid, to lactate, and to mother better year by year. You're going to become a better son, dad, husband, instructor, motivator, talker, better example for others over time, God willing. You cannot maximise your contribution by just becoming a hulk. And if you do harm yourself trying to hulk up, your kids might have to look after you. I believe dairy is a development food. So meat is never going to be in the same class as whey and other dairy-derived products. Then watch out when the body cannot convert the calcium into muscle and it directs it in sinew and bone. Don't keep drinking milk if it can't make you develop in a beneficial way. So while its working, its working. Praise God. However, protein bars are made with fake flavourings and other stuff which can have effects later on. More advice! I recommend going for quality, so others around the world can learn from you. The best produce is the best produce. So how about quality cream pies with nuts and fruit? How about quality shakes mixed at home and supplied in canisters? How about eating with your family, not in the gym? Man, stay away from fake flavourings, fake sugars, and preservatives. Real vanilla beans have 250 compounds in them, only one of which is vanillin, the synthesised compound in the bars and baked goods. You get the picture.

@SlingshotMustang2 жыл бұрын
Bro same here. I keep flip flopping between my decision to bulk or cut. Beginning of summer I weighed 170 and decided I wanted to get up to 180, so I did in about two weeks. Then I chilled at 180 for a couple weeks and liked that I was bigger but I noticed a bit less definition, so I decided to go back to 170. Then I changed my mind again and went back to 180 and then I changed my mind AGAIN and went back to 170 which is where I'm at now. But a few days ago I was benching 225 and after my third rep I tweaked the fuck out of my left shoulder, and it hurt bad enough that I ended the workout immediately because I noticed that even push-ups didn't feel good, so didn't wanna push it further. I think it's okay, not an actual injury hopefully, but it was definitely a concerning pop and it was accompanied by pain and weakness. I haven't lifted since then, I'm about to go back to the gym tomorrow to test it. And I'm probably just gonna go back to the bulk because like you said, more muscle > less fat.

Genuine question, how does one overcome debilitating and workout-wrecking abdominal discomfort with such a high caloric intake? I.e. the cycle of extreme bloat, liquishits, and constipation resulting in fatigue? Because I burn hella energy working out but can never increase my intake past a certain degree without it poorly affecting my performance. I would love your insight into this

3:27 I like to make my own bars. take some honey and that peanut butter you have to mix, the good stuff and heat it up on a skillet on a very low heat (not over 125 cuz it can make the honey bad for you) then poor that onto some oats, mix the crap outa it and slap it in the fridge. Usually toss some cocoa powder and ground up peanuts into it. Packed FULL of calories and protein. I feel freakin pumped to the max like I could rip my own head off and set it on my table to watch myself lift.
