Difficult to survive, once we are addicted to Indian spicy food, and Indian cuisine abroad is adapted to palates not used to ( full power spicy food) and is not often the real thing. This Indian restaurant is unique.

This is one super video Karl. The happy look on Manisha's face during the whole trip to Hamilton was priceless. Your friend Todd speaks Hindi beautifully and boy was Manisha surprised. And then to have authentic Indian thali in that cool dhaba, followed by the gorgeous Mughal gardens reminiscent of Agra--was the icing on the cake. I sure hope your sas and sasur and parivar got to see this wonderful video. And your expression Karl was priceless. You were so proud to do this for Manu and it showed. You nailed it my friend!

Great seeing Manisha Ji having authentic and yummy Indian food in beautiful Hamilton NZ,which by the way the aerial views of Hamilton as well as of the Mughal Garden are SENSATIONAL, so glad you put in english subtitles when Manisha Ji and your friend Todd talk in Hindi,😂 as for the Indian music I may not be East Indian, but being part American Indian* may be the reason why I love Indian music, like the ads that pop up here with some Indian pop song. Jai Hind Karl Ji, 👍and greetings 👋from central Mexico. * I once read in an edition of NatGeo that the people of Assam are of the same bronze color and physical features as my American Indian ancestors, so maybe that's why I like Indian stuff.😊

It is hard to live abroad , especially in countries like these where the constant hustle and bustle and noise is absent. It feels like the world has come to a startling stop and definitely takes a while to get accustomed. It is also very hard to meet or just casually start a conversation with people in a country like New Zealand, where population is sparse compared to India. As a fellow Indian living abroad I can understand the feeling of being away from home, but Karl is our inspiration of how one can fit in and become one with a totally different setting , change peoples minds and find home once again with entirely different people.

I lived in New Zealand until 1985. During that time the only Indian restaurant in Auckland was Ashiana and Raj Bombay take away. When I returned after 25 years, I visited an Indian restaurant specialising in Dosa and a punjabi restaurant near the Tower. The food was sublime. Also saw an indian take away near green valley and a few srilankan shops. When I visited Wellington, I observed a chain known as Namaste, and a few indian food outlets in food halls. It was amazing to see so many indian restaurants.

Regarding piling up fruits and vegetables on the roadside and just writing down the price on a sign (and placing a very heavy box to put the money in): This is very common in Germany, too. There are even fields of flowers where you can cut the bouquet of your choice and pay accordingly without any oversight. Works, obviously.

I love that he's teaching and educating people about hindi, urdu, and so on and helping create peace but sadly, i always thought my entire life that the solution to all the worlds conflicts, racisms, and other problems would be solved with education, freedom of information, science and so one. If we all understood each other and understand we are all human we could solve any situation. But the cold hard facts I've learned in recent years is, the hateful ignorant people will never seek out things like this to education and correct themselves, those people will always ignore facts, science, and so on and will always choose hate. I know this as i live literally in a family and a country right now full of incredible hatred people who constantly repeating the same hate speech and conspiracies no matter how much it's proven wrong, they don't care, they have resources to research and correct themselves but choose not to, they choose only to get their information from like minded hateful people like them, not actual sources that are proven and they couldn't care less how many people they hurt or even lose their lives due to their hate and ignorance. So while I really do appreciate channels like this and people who spend time educating others for goal of world peace. It's just a sad hard fact that the people who start the wars, cause violence's, and so on just simply will ignore any message like these and keep doing what they are doing. When i realized how hateful and disguting even people in my own family are in recent years, it's really had me lose hope for humanity and i really only seeing it going down hill from here, at least here in the USA. I'm afraid of what's coming in a few years with the next election, i think it'll be much worst then the capitol attack of the last one.
