I mean, for the survivors, it probably was. For most of the match, Willie kept chases at a minimum, and played in a way where it puts them in a lose-lose situation. It's only fun for the Killer because of the intensity, and the need to keep the winstreak. It's like a Killer tunneling; they would find it fun to chase the survivor, while the survivor is miserable because he doesn't get the chance to really play the game.

@@xykane But that's kind of a problem because high MMR ISN'T fun. No one enjoys it, it just exists because people put themselves there. Survivors don't enjoy it because they don't get to play the game most of the time, instead most fo the time is spent on the ground or hooked in literally every match, or for the Killer, it's miserable that you have to juggle a 1v4 and a 1v1 at the same time, and be powerless to do anything about it in certain situations. Not one person in this community enjoys high MMR, it's the very worst of what DbD has to offer. THE VERY WORST. A casual mode would save this game.

In defense of the survivor's here it was intense for you but that's because you were at a 400 game winstreak. To them they spent nearly 30 minutes doing the same 1 generator while you played gen kick simulator. I'm not saying you can't play how you want especially given its a win streak but it's frustrating losing a game they shouldn't have lost. Dipping more into the argument of game balancing here but the problem with all those gen kick perks is that it's free unearned regression. Compare that with something like Pop Goes The Weasel which still requires that you kick the generator but also that you hook a survivor or Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance which requires you hook a survivor on a particular hook. I personally am just not a fan of any generator progression or regression in the game that isn't earned and prevented by both sides. I have a ton of respect for you and what you do, Willie. I hope you know I don't mean any disrespect. ❤

I wouldn't really call Eruption "free," (especially after its nerf,) since you still need to get a down after kicking the gen, which can be hard-- especially on a map like Eyerie, which, despite its changes, can still be pallet hell. CoB, though-- yeah, that's free regression by almost every definition. Sucks though that that free regression was pretty much the only thing keeping his head afloat for half the game, despite the fact that he was playing relatively well

I only have like 350 hours but main Onryo, I've been maining her probably 100 hours or so, so by no means an expert, but your videos have been so helpful for my play style. Even the older ones before some changes to her. You really taught me how to incorporate condemned into my style. I play a more gen defense style but I've learned how to use my teleports to add pressure and occasionally get an easy 1-2 kills in a match by condemned alone.

@@bogymanthedark the gen kick perks were basically killed (good riddance), and pain res was changed to provide less late game value, but slightly stronger early game value. Altruistic healing is the same, but self healing now takes 24 seconds with every medkit, and can only be done a maximum of 2 times with charge addons, so the god awful 8 second self heals are dead now too

Just a great game, real joy to watch :) And I say that on the survivor side too. The gen tapping, split-pressure, reset discipline, tape discipline...greeding pallets even at the riskiest possible times. This team had the macro down pat. The real mistake was giving the 3-gen so easily, it's honestly shocking that happened considering they were so coordinated otherwise.

@@benebersole3038 it wasn't a team as good as he was, they were so tunnel visioned on condemned that they flubbed gen pressure constantly - 3-gen build with 4 people alive is a joke in efficacy and very much a losing position and anyone with actual game experience would know that eruption is -9 seconds worth of one out of four survivors on an active kicked gen, cob/oc do basically nothing when removed by a tap the moment you leave the gen + not against potatoes that fail the skillcheck - he was 'carried' by sadako's threat of instakills that he applied very well by keeping track of people and keeping the teleport loop going, i.e. his skill with sadako and a mandatory red addon to make her not quite the weakest killer in the game by the way: *cope lmfao lol xaxaxa XD ))) kkkkk*

1: Onryo is not a chase oriented killer anyway. Dropping chase is what she *needs* to do. 2: Not hooking saved him enough time to go back and gaurd gens that were seconds away from being done. The play style gave him a fighting chance, while the survivors were 100% winning, he even said it himself, so no they wereing making progress, they made a mistake getting one full condem person killed and thus they lost, it seems when the killer gets a upper hands thats when the game stops being "fun" for survivors, but to me even when I am playing survivor I want the challenge, also what does it even matter as well, do you think the killer likes on the receviing end to just allow the survivors to win? It doesn't matter at the end of the day, play as you want, such a annoying compliant.
