I said same shit imagine the natives who lived in Oklahoma and Kansas back in like 1500s or earlier I mean tornados just didn't start they been happening before humans even roamed the earth. I tried do a study on the like what the Indians did and all really get is they knew weather so great that they either got out area or maybe they even had plans for that spinning cloud which they prob called it and had ditches or something. It's something I would love to learn. Also read they did weather dances and had this thing with their gods and literally said it drove tornados around them. Kind like one video where tornado is forming over lady in Kentucky and she starts talking in tongues to God to go around her and the tornado actually spared her and took 3 lives down road

@@SadBadge The greater the zoom, the more any motion is exacerbated, so if it's very zoomed in, that just makes it even more impressive that the footage looks like it was shot from a camera attached to an iron girder that was driven 50ft into the ground. There has been an incredible amount of new accessories created in recent years that helps keep all sorts of cameras stable, but drones are notoriously difficult to keep steady compared to using any of the hand held accessories, so I'd love to know what they were using, and what model of drone as well. Yeah, and not to dog on Reed's incredible footage (esp that drone O_O), but there is sOOOoo much good video of this tornado. No rain, good afternoon lighting, and most crucially a VERY small vortex size/radius, especially for such a powerful tornado... hardly wider than a residential lot at times. That made it REALLY easy for people to be much closer than usual, distances from rotation center that would be disorienting or even extremely dangerous for average size tornadoes. There are phone vids from random folks at the grocery store that are in the top 10 most clear and illuminating tornado videos I've seen.

It might work to understand the weather better but it won’t work in order for earlier warning. They only way to have an early warning is to issue the warning whenever clouds are spinning but then the problem is that spinning clouds don’t firm into tornadoes most of the time. So when I hear a tornado warning go off where I live in KS I go out to see fir myself because that is what they do. If I just see clouds turning above me and no funnel then I’ll stay outside and watch it until I know what it’s gonna do but I do not rely on the weather radio for accurate information. Last time, a tornado hit a mile from my house but the weather radio did not talk about it until five minutes after it passed and I knew about it because I saw it forming and took shelter and then after my brother, who is a firefighter fir the county, texted me and told me it was moving away from where I lived did I get a notification on the weather radio.

The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. The portion of Jacob is not like them: for He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance: The LORD of hosts is His name.

For those who live in the region aptly known as Tornado Alley it's just a fact of life. Tornadoes can form just about anywhere under the right conditions; there are about 30 a year in the UK but go mostly unnoticed as they're far too weak - barely even reaching EF1. In parts in the US like Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas; in the late spring to mid summer especially, the fact that the warm winds from the Gulf of Mexico are met with cooler, dry winds from the Atlantic at a convenient verging nexus makes for perfect spawning grounds for not only the Supercell but also some mighty fearsome twisters.

I live in Atlantic Canada we have snow storms I would rather put up with snow and cold for a couple of months of the year than to live in Tornado Alley dealing with that every year we might have the odd roof collapse because of the way to snow but that's something you can deal with if you're not lazy but there is no way to prepare for a tornado even if you had a bunker most people wouldn't be home at the time that these things happen and someone commented that these are just houses but man you know they're probably people in those houses too I'm sure not everyone of those buildings were empty even if you have insurance you still lose all your personal stuff your photographs and memories hard to replace that🇨🇦🇨🇦

@@anthonybelyea1964 problem is, they happen in Canada too, just as they do in the UK and anywhere else in the world. It's just in that expanse of the US the conditions are much more frequent. I mean consider Earthquakes; they're far more common along faultlines - California has them a whole lot more then most parts of the US and yet New York is situated on a dozen of faultlines. Yet they've never had any in as long as I've been aware. Even a mild one would be a catastrophic event however given how the main city is structured.
