The idea is terrible. If you monetize a platform specifically aimed at children, you begin to encourage gambling amongst children. In America it's never been an ethical problem, the question never gets asked. In other countries, there are tighter government restrictions on scenarios like this

After its launch and the media hype, Hopscotch was attaining phenomenal growth in its number of users; however, the app was still free, so the company didn’t have any revenue. Thus, the company had to raise additional venture capital. Samantha and Jocelyn took Hopscotch through two rounds of funding, in 2013 and again in 2015, and they raised $1.2 million. Eventually, the Hopscotch team realized that with continual growth, but lack of revenue, they would need to constantly look for more investment, but they didn’t want to run the risk of going out of business if they couldn’t manage to continue to raise money, so they decided to switch to a paid subscription model.

Love this app, in middle school I created a clicker app for my project in school and it was really the most fun I had and what brought me into creating games, so I love this business and I’m quite amazed to see it on shark tank

Mark is such a good guy. I love how any one that comes in there trying to scam people he is the first to call them out. And then the businesses that make a difference, he is willing to put out money even if he knows it not going to bring in a ton of return

Great for her, and she was not being rude or greedy. Glad Mark appreciated her and the value for his kids. At the end when Daymond butted in with his two cents, she should have looked at him and said "you said you were out".

Should make it an either or option. Subscription and you get to play games for free, or free to create and gotta buy tokens to play. You keep 3/4 of the revenue from the tokens and give the creators 25%, then keep 100% of the subscription base. That should literally fix the entire problem presented within this snippet of the whole presentation.
