And a prime example of that is a world-known comedian vs an open-mic on Kill Tony where the comic says some weird "serious" stuff, making the entire audience uncomfortable. Nah, I'm siding with Lauren. If you're totally unfamiliar with Glassman's style, then there's no telling where his bits begin and end. His sarcasm isn't thick enough. Which, debatably, also means it's not good. I imagine he constantly has these types of interactions. She's only at fault for not doing her research and figuring out how to vibe with her guest.

Never watched first date. Seemed like just another way for YMH studios to get more views of another podcast platform, and since Dr.drew was leaving at the time they were probably looking for another viewership. It's so bad, her interviews suck, not interesting what so ever. YMH needs to stop this podcast... I have no idea who this person is or why she was even given that platform.

Rick is definitely hard to handle, especially if you have no clue who he is...buttttt that's no one's fault but hers. I think this episode in particular, really made it obvious that Laurens convinced that the main draw, the reason people watch and continue to do so is 100% because of herself. Thats the only reason a host doing this type of show wouldnt bother to Google who their about to have on. Whether she's a comedian or not, she's been around the space long enough to know comedians can be crazy. The again, who cares as long as she's doing her, you know.. asking super cool questions and not giving a single fukk...🙄🙄

Rick is kind of a jerk, and Lauren is going after him. I think she understood a lot of the jokes. I watch Rick more than I watch Lauren, but Rick can be disrespectful to women, and that leaks into his humour. Here, he is hitting some resistance.

Rick is great. I wouldn’t make any excuses for her not knowing his style of comedy. Regardless of if she is a comic, if she has had other comedians on her show, if she works for Segura-she has a podcast where she effectively interviews guest. ANY sort of basic research (literally even watching one episode of TYSO) would make it crystal clear that Rick is all about bits. That is his entire schtick and any primitive research on him would make that super clear. She clearly did no due diligence.
