Dom never gets enough credit for how much he changed MMA, his striking style was very unique for his time, he was one of the first that had a tailor made technique for MMA, not a specialist martial art translated for MMA. A lot of what's standard today was pretty ground breaking when Dom did it.

He's an understated legend, a lot of his techniques were pretty ground breaking during his hey day. Nothing major, but he just had little tweaks to his footwork and counters that were specifically tailored for MMA. Everyone does it today, but it was all pretty new when Dom did it.

Dom is the best technical announcer in the game, period. He makes chubby old Daniel look like mr obvious. When Dom is part of the announcing team it is like have a crystal ball. So many times I have heard announce what will happen and seconds later it happens. Truly an overlooked talent.

Dominick Cruz is easily one of the most articulate and entertaining commentators I have ever heard in any sport. My only concern is that he has a temper, holds a grudge and can be petty as fuck. Dom is definitely not the most interesting man in MMA. I will never forgive Dom for insulting DC’s commentating. Dom is horrible at commentating and repeatedly shows signs of early CTE when on the mic. Bisping is really good at commentating.
