Malta has never had such a large population historically, it is due to the introduction of globalism that a lot of people, especially as the 21st century kicked off, started coming to Malta. I live in Malta. The main reason why its so densely populated is due to the number of people who come here to work. Western and Central Europeans all get jobs working in iGaming here. If its not iGaming, then its tourism. In summer, there is a lot of people from Eastern Europe who come and work in restaurants, bars and clubs for 8 months. There is also a lot of Eastern Europeans who work as builders. Basically everywhere you go, there is a construction site on every block. There is also a lot of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis who work as nurses, cooks and delivery drivers. Then there is a lot of Philippines who are bus drivers and also cleaners.

The US House of Representatives does most of the policy functions (economic, foreign relations, military) while the US Senate is mostly the administrative wing (confirming federal positions, hearings, etc.), although they both have to sign off on legislation for a bill to pass and both can initiate legislation (except for the federal budget; that has to originate from the House). The House functions as the voice for the people (for the first few decades of its history, a US citizen would only vote in state and local elections, and their only federal election would be to elect their representative) and the Senate functions as a voice for the states (they were nominated by their state's legislature until 1913 when the Constitution was amended to have senators be directly elected by their constituents).

These lands were easy to access by water and were very fertile for agriculture. Hahaha, what happened here? 3:27 "Macau, Monaco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Gibraltar, Wormsey, Bahrain, the Maldives, Malta and Sint Maarten". What is Wormsey, why is the order of the Maldives and Malta mixed up, and why is Bermuda skipped?

I live in West Bengal, India. If my state was a country by itself, it would have more population density than even Bangladesh. my state is 86K km² and 100M in population. Check if u don't believe. But there r infinite numbers of bangladeshi refugess who have settled here over the past 100 years so actual population of my state would even exceed Bangladesh to be honest. Despite we being half the size of Bangladesh. And one district in our state in the North, 'Darjeeling' is extremely sparsely populated. It's very mountainous. And another district in West, 'bakura' is also very sparsely population, it's basically desert.

im from norrland (the northern 60% of sweden), norrland has only a population of about 1.1 million people making it about 4.5 people per km2 thus placing it only above australia and canada edit: but that list might have been only places with over 10mil people
