Chance, just do you! You are the reason this is becoming the BEST channel for seeing these homes. You can be blue collar and professional at the same time. You show us everything we need to know and especially the price, instead of trying to hide it. As far as this home, I love it! One thing I do not like in general though in mobile homes is not having the living room or kitchen in the front. Makes it hard when you live in a park to see who is coming to your home. Although this house is a bit big for just me to retire in, it may be my favorite so far and the price is not too bad. This may be my future home!

The first thing I did, before you even started the tour was to hit that like button. That was a good tour, Chance, your personality shined through and you did not go overboard with anything. I really liked the home, there were a couple of things i would change, but for the most part I liked it. Another reason I prefer your channel is because you give a price range. The others do not. I've always wondered if that was even possible with these style homes. I assume those strips are there because traditional tape and mud sheetrock joints would crack during transport and it also makes them easier and quicker to build at the factory.

You can order any home with tape and textured walls, for an upgraded price. It usually increases a single wide price by about 4-5k.

I don't mind the strips so much, but I'd definitely want to selectively drywall all the interior walls that could get wet, like kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, and all walls and clothes closets backing onto bathrooms. And I'd want floor joists every 16 inches instead of 24. I also wonder about insulation and condensation. What I dislike most is wardrobes off bathrooms, and even those that back onto bathrooms.

Back in the 70's my first home was a 12 x 70 Redman mobile home, three bedroom, one bath, approx. 840 square feet. What amazes me is how much larger these mobile home are, yet how small and cramped the living room/kitchens are. My living room was at the end of the home, with triple windows on both sides and double windows on the end. The front door opened into a dedicated dining area. The kitchen was fairly small; nor were the bedrooms very large, but we found we spent most of our time in the dining/living room area. You never felt cramped. I would feel claustrophobic is many of these homes despite their size.
