[ADVICE] MY-PHILOSOPHY: "INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. Example: In my mind, I visualise a picture of my younger self (family albums might help). And I 'remember' what the emotion of genuine love felt like. And then I project those emotions onto the mental visualization of my younger self. I meditate and hold that 'state of mind' for as long as I can. The result? I feel my conscious energy resignating with positivity and renewed strength. And my anxiety immediately evaporates away. At the very least, depending on my levels of anxiety, this mediation practice aids to 'evaporate' much of it. You can do the same thing with "trying to 'remember' temperatures, e.g. hot or cold. And then project that memory onto a visualised heat source (all within your minds eye). You will 'feel' the effects immediately." I hope this proved helpful.

Meruem and Mewtwo were both born into similar circumstances as a strong and arrogant creature and ended up becoming better as they met certain individuals that changed their perspective completely where they realized that strength isn't everything. It reminded me of Mewtwo's quote when it also saw the light at the end of its existential crisis tunnel: “I see now that the circumstances of one's birth is irrelevent,it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.”

There were several times I started to tear up during this video. Your descriptions of Komugi made me draw parallels to my wife. How her goal of making sure everyone is taken care of and happy, while not one for one with Komugi wanting to do nothing but play a game of Gungi, feels similar. 📍 MY-PHILOSOPHY:"INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. ............................. "Evil" is the antithesis to the virtue: 'humanity'. Humanity is the characteristic that defines the human spirit. Humanity is symbiosis across humans and society. 'Humanity' exceeds 'social-darwinism'. ............................. NEURO-PERSONALITY ............................. "SENSORY-FEELERS" ARE LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SPREADING DISINFORMATION AND HATE TOWARDS ENTJ/INTJ (AGAINST "THINKERS" IN GENERAL)-BOTH IRL AND ON THE INTERNET; DESPITE THOSE NEURO-PERSONALITY TYPES BEING A BLESSING TO SOCIETY AND ALL OF MANKIND! THEY DESERVE BETTER! 😤 'ESFJ', 'ESFP', ISFP and 'ISFJ' are a pathogen to humanity, and 'then' Cluster-B (depending on their neuro-personality). THEIR "FEELINGS 'IS' THEIR REALITY", THEY ALSO HAVE A MALICIOUS-MIND BY DEFAULT (low 'mirror-neurons' results in "SOCIOPATHIC-FEELER"; full of pathological hate, and highly chaotic). WHAT'S MORE, DESPITE HAVING MALICIOUS INTENT THEY ARE ALL EMOTIONALLY-WEAK AND PRONE TO COVERT/VULNERABLE-NARCISSISM (ISFJ especially; they impersonate and spread hate towards genuine INFJs). ............................... Also... To intelligent readers (who do 'not’ have a ‘pathological disregard for rationality and reality'). I recommend researching 'narcissistic personality disorder' (NPD) / 'cluster-B'; and know that they are the 'root of all evil' (especially 'ESFJ/ESTJ-narcissist'; Myers-Briggs reference, look it up)! European 'ESFJ' are the worst personality type, and they are responsible for inventing 'racism' and colonization! It is in their neuro-psychology!!! They are extremely 'manipulative' and often use 'looking pretty' to distract others from the witch's mind-games / mind-r@pe, e.g. gaslighting, playing the victim/damsel in distress, creating "flying-monkeys", and 'bribing' others (with money or BJ) to attack, or at times, kill someone for her. When caught, she will use her minions as scapegoats. European ESFJ are notorious for this especially in a racist context, e.g. Emmett Till. xSFP and ISFJ (2W1) are the most complicit, narcissistic-enablers. ISFP also tend to be 'oblivious-codependents' (look up the definition). Like ESFJ, XSFP's "feelings 'is' their reality." Most are covert/vulnerable-narcissists. ISFJ often perceive things only on the surface level (even by sensor standards), are suckers for a “pretty face", and their neuro-psychology makes them the ideal narcissitic-codependent and pawn to the ESFJ (blind-loyalty, surface level perception, susceptibility to covert-narcissism). Lastly, ISFJ are notorious for impersonating other people's identities IRL and on the internet; while ESFJ-9W1 superficially appears like an ENFJ, they have different 'neurology' and psychology. Both XSFJ are superficial by nature and perceive reality at face-value/surface level. SUMMARY Evil personality: 'ESFJ' (ALL), ESTJ (Cluster-b), ISFJ-2W1 (covert-narc/enabler). ESFJ-9W1 superficially resembles ENFJ; different 'neurology' and psychology. [Secretly] Evil and narcissist-friendly gunts/flying-monkey: ISFP (ALL), ESFP (ALL), and ISFJ (2W1 enable ESFJ). ☝️ALL of them are secretly emotionally-disturbed, hence their need to create conflict as a distraction (at other people's expense, truly evil). Spread the word! Thank you. ___________ Research ref: Raudha Athif, Ghislaine Maxwell, Marilyn Monroe, Karen, ESFJ-narcissists, ESFJ-neurology, Gaslighting, Amber Heard, Fake feminism, Rising of a shield hero (Malty-'ESFJ'; XSFX spread disinformation online. ISFJ is the main culprit, i.e. ISFJ largely perceive things on the surface level, and with malicious intent ISFJ impersonate others). Please research 'Brood-parasitism’- XSFJ natural psychology. //End

Meruem is one of the best written characters ever. He had so much depth and growth. It was extremely impactful when he died and it was tragic cause he was finally finding his humanity... I really wish he survived but continued to grow. Same with Pito. Some of the Ants survived & get to continue growing, but imagine if Gon didn't finish off Pito & she helped Meruem kill Puff for plotting behind their backs... then they continue becoming human & become important members later on. Granted, this would be extremely less impactful & probably wouldn't work with the story (unless they went with the next expedition to the dark continent cause that'd be interesting) but I just really like Pito & Mereum & I was so sad when they died... especially Pito cause she died so fast.

When has a cow ever begged for mercy? Does a cow hear out the cry of an insect he accidentally eats while eating his grass and considers the morality of the issue? Cows have no complex thoughts and if it was ever shown that they did only the repugnant of humanity would continue to feast on cows. Yet Meruem killed his mother, and fellow ants who merely for one cared about the queens well-being and for trying to wipe off the kings tail. Yet this ant has the gall to call out humans despite him killing for far less?

@@supergoji7511I think Meruem was pointing out the hypocrisy in humans asking Meruem to spare them on moral grounds. As we always eat animals that are not as strong as us without a care, so if Meruem who's stronger than us comes around to eat us, we shouldn't complain, as that's exactly what we've been doing. What we should do instead is, show Meruem his place (netero goes brrr).

You take someone who had no concept of what love and acceptance was only knowing power and cruelty, and slowly develop their relationship. Something that clearly didn't make much sense. An all powerful being and a girl who was considered somewhat slow and only good at one thing. Both never truly experiencing what love really meant until they played their game. Hearing you tell that story again with such emotion and meaning brought back how great HXH truly is. That being said your story telling, humor, and emotion are what keep me listening and watching. If there's love in your heart you forgive. The act proves the truth. To be forgiven we must forgive. Start with your parents, they've loved you, they're easiest. Look inside for the grievances we all build up there and Genuinely forgive from within. It teaches you something you can learn no other ways. You have to learn first hand by what this process does inside your soul. Please trust me. Break down before Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness today. It's not too late. God loves you. Also because you had the courage to be vulnerable with us my man, I understand maybe it's okay to be a little emotional every once in a while😅

There is a Meruem story in all of us and whether that's good or bad is totally up to you. Fight your ego and be worthy of the love you deserve. Perhaps even learn to extend that same human compassion/love to all the other creatures we share our life and world with. But that's just how I see it. Another great video breakdown.

This is by far my favorite video of yours. The in-depth character analysis is amazing, of course. But what resonates with me the most is your passion and intelligent connection to the whole Meruem story. I just love your videos so much, man. So amazing. When you started getting emotional towards the end of the vid - made me tear up. Not only do you make great content of these animanga stories and characters, you bridge the important themes into relatable and profound life lessons. 10/10 haha ✌🏼👍🏼👌🏼

This was upload was EVERYTHING I needed today ‼️ "Who am I? Why am I here?" The existential question of purpose is something that we all experience at one point or another. And sadly some of us never get to find an answer. An in depth character analysis that gave me a newfound respect & appreciation for Meruem. And for you Nick. While I knew majority of the information presented, you've breathed new life into my perspective, fueling my own character development that I've been undergoing the last several years. For that, I want to say thank you. This video was a love letter & a token of gratitude to Meruem's character & the passion you have radiates during the whole video. Then you do something which most people would consider a sign of weakness(society be trippin'), & most other creators wouldn't do: allowed us to experience a moment of vulnerability with you. But I'd argue it takes real strength to know you can allow yourself to be vulnerable. A kind of strength one gains thru experience. Crying is something we all experience. Doesn't matter the reason. We've all shed some tears before. And it's another thing that connects humanity as a whole. Because that's all we are at the end of the day: people. Everybody is somebody. You matter. You are WORTHY. You are ENOUGH. I LOVE EVERYONE. Be good to each other. Be good to you.💜

The Bible is truth. To understand this read genesis, Mathew, and one book of the Bible you chose yourself. As you do this practice forgiveness. It's about what's in your heart, love Is the key. Please trust me. Jesus Christ is the way truth and life.

People keep assuming that Adult Gon can beat Meruem, but that's not the case. Yes. Neferpitou said that Adult Gon could even sink his fangs into the king, but that doesn't mean that Gon is gonna beat Meruem. Meruem will easily tear Gon's limbs off one by one. Pitou's corpse took Gon's arm. What makes you think Meruem won't easily do the same?

Love your openness in this video. Your understanding and vision on the way this character was written shows that the lessons and values embedded within anime extend far beyond entertainment, they have a much more important reach. I’ve always enjoyed your videos at face value, but I’m sure someone else out there took in your words for more than entertainment today. Mental health and self love are a genuine issues that a lot of us internalize, and you opening up a bit on that was valuable.

Thank you for this heartwarming analysis. Meruem was always one of my favorite characters in the series, but it wasn't until watching this video that I finally understood why. I now believe that the reason for the excessive exposition and slow pacing was intended so that the audience could process the beauty of his character development and reach this exact conclusion. Unfortunately, the shift was too jarring for many of us, even for other prolific creators covering the arc. Needless to say, I'm now extremely motivated to revisit it and will now watch it with an open mindset.

I find this to be a Grade S story arc. As you truly get to feel the character change. Mind you this falls in line with my view on evil beings being very short sighted. As come on, even the idea of using humans as livestock make little to no sense. As humans are a very poor livestock. Not only do we lack the heavy mussel mass which makes for good meat. we also reproduce relatively slowly, having long gestation periods. Which in all honesty wouldn't work out for his original plan. This entire thing just shows the short slightness of this character. As he had all these grand plans and schemes but really did he know what he actual wanted? Turns out no, as in reality he just wanted some kind of connection. A man born with a parent, born without a cause, born to be king but having no idea what this even actual means. Outside of hey, your the strongest. He didn't even truly care about his own citizens. Killing them without remorse or thought. Until he meet someone he couldn't beat i a game of wits. A game that in all honesty he didn't even need to play. In reality games like chess or go have little to no tactical correlation. Your not going to become a better commander knowing when to sacrifice a pawn or to push forward. As life is rarely ever that straight forward. The rule of real combat is always more complicated. So why did he do it, from the looks of things he was board. He was the top of the food chain. But he really didn't know what he wanted to do. As in all honesty taking over the world even with a super powered army is not as easy as you think. as sure you can crush every army...but holding onto the land... keeping an active garrison is harder then you think... Combine this with meeting her and losing for the first time. it expand his views so greatly.. That he began to question why he was even doing this to begin with. As he then justified it by saying he wanted to fix society. when in reality, what dose that even mean? as sure he wanted to use fear and death to do this...but even that is very vague on how he would even operate this entire thing. the man didn't even know what he wanted. Hell he didn't even have a name. Guy was just king, nothing more nothing less. This is why he easily fell in love with her. Because she was the only person who treated him differently. who even bothered to ask him questions. To show concern when he is wounded. she treated him not like a monster but a person. This is why this is such a great character arc.

ITS NOT about Netero losing and Meruem doing what he wanted He still needed to grow and thats shown cause he ACTUALLY DOES later. The point is Netero SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO HIM Meruem was not fully developed but he was WILLING to sit and talk about things Saying "the world cant change, it would only be worse, change is bad" is just a silly to say and very square minded The bad things Meruem sees in our human system ARE REAL, disregarding them is just ignoring reality. Change would spill a lot of blood? What about the millions and millions that are being victims of our system RIGHT NOW? We have to consider that AND *TALK ABOUT IT* at least Cause if you keep your conservative mentality fixed in "the world cant change, if it changes it will bring suffering" makes you forget that WE ARE NOT in a Disney movie and many people are already suffering The point is that Netero could have talked about it but instead he chose violence and murder to perpetuate the system without allowing himself to question it (in his own words) and that willful ignorance is part of the *malice* of humanity If you dont think about it, it doesnt exist, so why do something? Let them kids starve while bad people take everything like dragons over their gold, lets NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT IT, lets keep quiet and throw ATOMIC BOMBS at anyone that tries to sit and talk

I totally get it. I’ve watched Hunter x Hunter 5 or 6 times myself. The thing is I’ll put on an episode for the comfort of it and just keep going and going and going. All the way to episode 148 (see, I know how many episodes are in the series without having to look it up). Yup, embarrassing. But here’s the thing, each time I watch it I get something new, something different from that watch. The show is so deep, so complex, that I think it justifies the number of times I’ve watched it. I don’t think I could watch it so many times if it were otherwise. I used to not love Greed Island, but I now see it as a misunderstood masterpiece ahead of its time. So yeah I get it. And I think we need not feel embarrassed for watching it so many times.

I honestly believe this "might makes right" is also at the heart of why we kill livestock animals. Livestock animals are surprisingly intelligent and very much so conscious. Why do we kill them? Simply because they can't fight for themselves as we can. Hells, we justify it on the basis that we're more intelligent, what sort of justification is that? These animals are being killed for increasingly lavish purposes. I do not see a meaningful difference between early Meruem and those of us that choose to participate in that industry of death.

Hunter x Hunter has been my favourite anime/manga since I first started reading it, I picked it up by chance having won the first two volumes as a prize at a quiz night, and it came at a very difficult time in my life, it was a beautiful escape for me during that time. Ever since then I have loved it, I still regularly think about, coming up with different nen abilities and their restrictions, I still read/watch it regularly too, but despite all that, I have never looked at Meruem in this way. I like Meruem as a character, he's never been my favourite but I like him a lot, and the entire arc is amazing, but I think you have added a level of detail and appreciation that I never had before. Thank you, thank you for adding to my favourite series in such an inspirational way, I think I will appreciate both Meruem and Komugi more now. Beyond Hunter x Hunter, I think the overall message presented gives me a lot to think about and a lot to consider in my own life and with my own personal connections, I can honestly say I never expected a random KZbin video on a series I thought I knew inside and out would leave such an impression.
