They pay KZbin tremendous money to scatter ads, much like political parties do. Obviously they want the unaware to watch their vids. It should be expected with the times we are in now, the Bible predicts this. Especially sound Christian channels.

I myself once had a mother and her three children move in with me in a strictly room mate status. The Church called us on the carpet. We immediately had some in the "Do not judge!" Camp jump to our defense. My reaction was to tell these people to step aside and not involve themselves in this matter. I then approached the Pastor and explained it was a room mate arrangement. The house was physically divided into my area and her and her kids area. One example was what was the master bedroom bathroom had two entrances. One to the master bedroom and the other to the converted patio room which was my room. The door to the master bedroom was sealed in order so that it was inoperable. I then invited the Pastor to come over and personally inspect the living arrangement and make suggestions. He felt no need to do so and this arrangement worked for 5 years without any inappropriate behavior. I praised the Church for its diligence and discipline instead of hiding behind "Do not judge!"

I am so glad that I found you. I tried to become a true Christian for some time now, but no matter how hard I tried, I felt that I could not achieve my goal until I listened to you. As a catholic, I was confused, so many things did not make sense, did not understand what was told to me, at school and at church. My questions were not answered in a way that I would feel at peace, the contrary, most of my life I lived in fear that I would go to hell when I die. Not allowed to read the bible. I heard of Sunday School from the Protestant Church, but we were not even allowed to speak to a person from another religious "faith". The only way to go to Haven is being a catholic. Only 5 years ago, at the age of 70, that I started to learn about Christianity outside the Catholic Church and that was an eye opening, I should say that it changed my life. But until recently, I did not really know enough . Everyday, I am learning more about the Lord Jesus, his teaching, and how to live life to achieve "peace" with God. It is an amazing feeling to not live in fear anymore; a big part of my stress came from not be able to deal or to accept the beliefs, the rules and regulations of the Catholic Church. I understood even more when I started to read about the historic of the Catholic Church and from listening to people who know about the bible. Many thanks and God bless you.

I was a catholic too, with the same confusion and unanswered questions too. I cried to God to show me His way. I felt a sinner. I felt lost. That's where I received my salvation. I met christian students at my university (in Bruxelles) and they told me about the Gospel, the sin of men and the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus-Christ as only way to be saved. I have accepted this divine present, received forgiveness for my sins and decided to follow Jesus as my Lord. The best decision and move ever. Glory to the Lord. Peace with Him. My search had dured 7 years. It was 37 years ago. God is good. May He bless you abundantly with His grace and peace.

Sorry you fell away from the true church. You actually walked away from the eucharist? So did so many of Jesus's deciples in John 6:66. You walked away from your messiah and God. I'm sure God will forgive you, since you unfortunately were taught the wrong gospel.

@@bill19441 I do communion like Jesus told us, in his memory. I walk away from a church that created dogmas that were not from Jesus Christ's teaching and the bible. I follow Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. The true Church is what Jesus Christ established when He came to this world. At that time, there were many rules that were not in pleasing God...that's why God sent his only Son to teach us the right way, not what men invented and created: dogmas that are not from the Word of God ( the bible, the teaching of God). Follow God's commandments, Jesus Christ's teaching; love God and your brothers and sisters, repent your sins, pray and glorify God. I strongly recommend that you go back at Jesus's time and his teachings. The basic of the catholic church is there but the additions are not from God. They are from men. God already forgave my sins, it is not your place to say that I went away from the catholic church and God will forgave me for that...I could say the same thing about your beliefs, but I wouldn't be a Christian. I am not judging you, only God will. So don't judge others...It's not what God want. I'll pray for you to find in your heart and soul the wisdom to respect others. It's not for you to tell or to dictate the right way to be Christian. Do your own studies of the bible and see what you'd discover. You don't have to be "catholic" to please God; you have to follow his rules. God bless you and your family. No need to argue my statement, I am at peace with God.

@@simonegodwin I think we all are clouded by our own sin, but I think it means when we are HONEST with ourselves about ourselves THEN we have the right heart to confront others about their faults. Too often we lie to ourselves, and that's why we are told to "commune with your own heart." I ask myself often whether I am being honest with myself about certain things in my life because I realized that I can't be real with God if I am pretending to be something I am not. The Bible calls it "hypocrisy." I learned it is too easy to convince myself I am something I am not and that it affects my communication with God and with others. Great teaching brother! I'm glad you touched on Matthew 7 (the plank in my own eye). You stated that when we remove our own plank then we can see clearly to HELP our brother. That's the problem with the majority of judging others. We have no intention of helping our brothers and sisters when we judge. We just want to judge and move on. I don't know if passing judgement in this way helps us feel better about ourselves or helps us ignore our short comings... I also notice a lot of judging comes by way of talking to other people about who we're judging and not bringing our concerns to the person we're "judging". When we judge with no desire to help a person, I see this as wrong. Especially when we judge someone while talking to others. Then it's just gossip. I believe that if we are going to judge, we should be able to help where we can. To pass judgement without the willingness to help our brothers and sisters is in no way moral. I understand that sometimes we can only give advice and any help is shunned but even advice is some form of help. Praying for the brother or sister should be a no brainer. But instead, we judge and move on. (I'm guilty of this all too often).

Thanks for this, Mike. I'm preaching on this chapter tonight, and what you said here is very enlightening. I have chosen to simply focus on verse 7 tonight - the path of the righteous and the promise of the afterlife. But what you say here is really applicable and true as well. The truth of the Gospel and the truth about God is ofteb paradozical - there is always judgement and mercy contrasted. So even if the chapter is quite harsh and judgemental - but rightfully so - it's not a coincidence that Paul chose to intermingle it with the message of mercy. It's hard to know which to emphasize at times, but it's important to account for both I just found your channel, and m looking forward to seeing more content from you.

It is very clear, in any translation I've seen. The distortion is -- I am convinced -- a willful one, intended only to silence moral judgements. Somehow the distortion got spread to innocent ears and was taken as a legitimate philosophical argument, but I don't believe anyone with a lick of wisdom (understanding of human nature grounded in life experience) can't easily see through it, even if not a Christian believer.

It's about self-righteousness. Some people can really go way off with condemning others. It's even harder when they don't even know what's going on, or don't care to know, and just condemn you to hell without lifting a finger. They separate themselves from others, thinking highly of themselves, condemning people even for watching a movie for example. I see this in cults a lot, and in people who give advice without inquiring first. It's like a doctor who don't do the check-up and just give you a list of meds to buy.

We are called to judge doctrine amongst those in the body of Christ. Those that cling to false doctrine will be cut off and thrown into the fires. If your doctrine is wrong, the only right you have is to repent. Everything you do besides repent will be a judgement and curse against you and your family. I pray that anyone that rejects the truth be judged severely until they repent. Repent while you can.

Let's be honest. We LIKE judging. We're all sinners but we feel better about ourselves by talking about how someone ELSE sins more than we do. We come up with all kinds of ways to justify our judgements.

Romans 2:16 King James Version 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Love your channel bro. Keep up the good fight. I go to a Calvinistic church but I don’t view romans 9 the way they do. I’m asking the Holy Spirit to help me because they are paying for my seminary but in order to be ordained I have to accept all of the tulip. I can’t up there and lie and say I do. I agree with all the essentials just some of the non essentials of the Presbyterian church

Don't judge others. I loved this. That is a common political tool and isn't what Jesus taught. You are the first person I've heard argue this, besides myself.

Hi.. I know I'm seeing this video way after you made it and not sure if you'll see comment but I just wanted to say thank you for making such informative videos on the scriptures and their meanings.. I am in what I feel like is... Well for lack of better phrase "spiritual warfare".. In early 2020 I felt God wake me up.. By that I mean in a pretty bad time I had been having in life the last 20 years I felt the MOST EXTREME urge to just... Learn. But not just any thing. Everything. About him. I unfortunately lost my faith thru adulthood and now I know what I done when I lost that faith is close and lock the door to feeling and hearing him work in my life. So I had a very dry and and empty life that made me have in my mind that "well I guess this is my life and God's grace and his giving of blessings is only in the movies" outlook on life. I actually have so many diffrent thoughts now but it would make this comment super long lol. And it's already gonna be long. I went on to make bad decisions that led to more bad decisions. At first I used shock like "what kind of God just let's this happen? Loving forgiving merciful God that lets so much bad stuff happen and not do anything? What have I DONE SO BAD to deserve this? What has ANY OF US DONE to DESERVE all the terrible things that happen?" That mentality helped me sleep thru the first year or so of my bad choices and consequences I had to pay for making them. Every year after that I continued to mess my life up but I did eventually put the blame on the only one ultimately responsible for my "tribulations". And that was ME. I did start to own my choices and accepted any repercussions for my negative view on my life. It didn't help me to change or want to really and start to get close to him again tho unfortunately. So needless to say I made myself live a very dry and empty and void of him kind of life. But early 2020 I FELT him nudging me to REMEMBER. I feel like I felt him say that to me and more then once. So I embarked on a years walk just drowning myself in everything he led me to learn about him. I could FEEL myself changing. I heard him knock. I answered. Now my warfare is ALL THE MANY religions and their versions of a book that I was already having hard time understanding all of it. And my deep true fear of not wanting to get this wrong. I felt him again and hear him again. I could be a worse person but I could be a better one that's for sure and I may have only made small transgressions in life but I felt as unworthy of his patience and forgiveness and love as I would had I killed 20 people. The way my heart filled with gratitude and appreciation and complete WANT to serve him and live for him and love him with everything I had I will never forget. I have just gotten some LDS that I commented on one of their FB posts and they started with messages and came to my home with book of Mormon and honestly what they said at first touched my heart and made me feel like they could be a church for me. The feeling turned to "wait.. Huh?" Bout week later. I had stumbled upon some older articles about the polygamy stuff and was hit with big "Ohhh I remember hearing bout this" moment. I then felt God urge to me learn again. He does that to me some times lol. I love it. But the more I read the more confused I got cuz I read something bout him being a fraud and his lack of Egyptian writings knowledge and so many of his papers and book of Mormon was based on help from an angel and lot of his work was debunked and shown to pretty much say our holy bible was not complete? And what he had was things kept from us? I remember reading in bible no-one shall take away from this book or add to it. It's one of the parts I understood right away as a warning to anyone that does. But it led me to "stumble" upon your videos. I do air qoutes cuz I'm believing in chance alot less these days lol. But basicly so far after only a few videos I actually understand so much more. Not only that I have that confidence in it being the TRUTH he is urging me hunger for and find. The other religions even tho say nice things to appear like there the TRUTH I still carried that doubt and kept me in that fear of getting it wrong and being a part of even his elite that could possibly be fooled. Not saying I'm elite but if they could even possibly be fooled than I stood big chance of being led astray. And that scared me. Like I said I feel like I just now got him back... I never want this amazing feeling to go away by another bad decision. So thank you for how you break it all down. I truly feel like he made you and those like you to help his lost children find the way back to his light. And I thank you AND God for for putting the Holy spirit in you and anyone who only want his truth to touch his all his children. ❤🙏

The point of that passage is to spend your time working on yourself. The reality is that we cannot look at another person with any superiority, we are all equally sinners. We have no right to judge. You have the right to assess and either participate or not. You have the right to encourage hold those who call themselves believers accountable, with the understanding that you yourself are willing to be party to the receiving end. We have no right to judge ( krínō ) means to condem or convict. We do have an obligation to share.

Mr. DeSoto Photography a good supporting passage would be the parable of the publican and the Pharisee

When people speak of works its true we cant make it to Heaven by works alone. No one is perfect, only God is good. Remember we must not only hear the Word, but be doers of the Word.

God have Mercy on man kind, AMEN. On Judgement, How a parent would judge and dicipline their children, so God also will be fair with his judgement, worry not about passed sin just be anchored in the Divine now and all will become righteous in Christ and God. God can not escape true love because thats what he is to. He Elects the ones who Love him. His election is his great Divine Pleasure for he knows all before we were. The more we get closer to God the more we reflect his righteousness, not our own. Who can be good of himself? Just surrender to Gods will. Imitate Christ to our full ability and Live.

If we judge others for something we ourselves are doing, we condemn ourselves according to our own standard that we judge by. It seems pretty clear.
