The fighter bonuses for Yugoslavia are so op you can easily get fighter 3s by 1940 also you can get cores on Bulgaria and Hungary but it's a bit complicated

@@greenmanwithagreenplan904 Yeah a part of the tree where you dissolve yoguoslavia and all the countries become puppets but then at the end you reintegrate them and you no longer have any of the bad national spirits. But theres a glitch where if you puppet a nation then do the reunification focus the game thinks youre reuniting yugoslavia and gives you cores on it

You can get Fighter III's by December 38 if you steal fighter II's from Italy/Romania (he has to rush it) then do the focus and use the bonus on getting fighter III's.

I usually do the dissolve Yugoslavia path (The Many Puppets One) and manually switch to Communist using the adviser. Then, I try to puppet as many Balken countries as I can (Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania) before doing the reintegration focus, so that I get cores on all my puppets. It is hard to pull off quickly, but its nice challenge that rewards you with lots of manpower and industry.

I would personally recommend Mexico, huge focus tree it has a few issues like a dispute between the church and the far left, and a possible army coup. But you can build your own faction inviting the south americans, invade and core central america, bring Trotsky to power if you want. All you have to worry about is the big blue blob above you.

I always thought the 'reunite the Kingdom' focus path was most powerful since you release everything and then can just let them go down their generic industrial branches meaning you have a million factories once you're back together. Also it lets you core Bulgaria and I think Transylvania too if you puppet them before doing the focus. Lets you stay monarchist too.

Romania actually has a pretty cool focus tree if you go balkans dominance but kinda luck based tho also when splitting yugoslavia wait until you have 1 claim in every state before inviting germany italy and hungary to the conference so that you will get all the land but yugo is scared and more likely to accept

Another fun and Powerful Focustree is Democratic Bulgaria going Balkan Confederation, and then pull a 180 and reinstate the Tsardom under Ferdinand I. You'll be a Monarchist Balkan Federation (New Byzantium?) with cores on all the Balkans, all their armies and generals!

Funny enough however... I found with No Step Back Strategic Bombing is far more powerful than CAS. It's just that Strategic Bombing has been off the table for people for so long I don't think anyone really considered using it. But it's ability to absolutely destroy supply and logistics ends up even more devastating than CAS now.

They don't have a Focus tree yet. But Play as Denmark, and bring back, Slesvig and Holstein, Skåne, Halland and Blekinge under the danish Crown (flag). If your as good as Tommykay, bring back England aswell as Svend Splitbeard and Knud the great did it as Vikings! 💪🥇🏆

Yeah the Tank Designer and Ship Designer are both No Step Back DLC and Man the Guns DLC respectively. If you are looking for a budget option getting the DLC subscription might be worth it. If you're like me who plays the game in bursts putting down 10 USD for 2 months basically to get everything while you play those two months isn't a bad call at all. Otherwise just focus on I'd say three DLCs that add important mechanics overall. Man the Guns for the Naval play, No Step Back for the Tank changes, and La Resistance for including the Spy Agencies. Other DLCs don't really add much value overall to the game (Together for Victory has the Puppet mechanics which are nice for example, but mostly for only a few specific nations that start with a lot of puppets like the UK or will get them through focus tree events). Otherwise it's a case of getting DLC at that point if you really have a desire to play a particular nation/region and want their focus trees (like Death or Dishonor for the Chechs, Balkan Battle Royale for Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia, etc). But if you want Focus Tree stuff and more interest in various regions? You're usually better off going to particular mods that do what you want. From Road to '56 to Kaiser Redux and such. Which usually have a lot more effort put into their focus trees than the base game does and filling in content in minor nations/unusual regions.

Does Turning on Ironman in HoI4 automatically disable console commands? In CK3 they are two different settings, and you can't be running debug mode AND must be in Ironman to get achievements.
