Wow, today I went for a walk and I saw so many moms wearing Balenciaga bags (it’s Mother’s Day). I don’t have kids but I’m like “How? Why?”. For me this brand did not even make any effort whatsoever to properly apologize (if that’s even possible) and do better and there is still such a huge hype about it. This is something I would never understand.

I live in West LA and Balenciaga is not popular with moms here. I personally wouldn’t support that brand so that makes me happy. As someone who works in fashion, their excuse was BS and scapegoating.

Agree with pretty much everything, especially with Pigalle. I generally felt like, for the last 2 years at least, stiletto pumps generally, feel outdated. But Chanel ballerina flats, for me has been my go to spring and summer shoes since my late teenage years. It's so delicate and feminine, yet, balanced and neutral.

The only thing I take issue with what is you saying "every time I see someone wearing...". I think it it silly to be bothered by what someone else is wearing. Perfectly fine to be done with these items, but you seeing others wearing them is not a reason to feel any particular way.

Yaaasss we don't respect Balenciaga. When I see people wearing it I just assume they either 1) have no morals or 2) spent their last of that item and can't afford anything else. Either way, I'd rather wear something from Goodwill than baleniaga
